Because actually just a few years before it was founded the Southern Baptist Convention came out in support of the Roe v. Wade decision. So everyone just rapidly changed their minds on that one.

Which makes it incredibly ironic that the far right style themselves as free thinkers who see through mainstream media lies because in reality they're sheep. Do they never stop and wonder why grifters target the right almost exclusively?

I suspect it’s because Israel is the one making the demands behind the scenes. They are the ones demanding shit like no nuclear enrichment, a weaker civilian-based government, etc. Iran is in the catbird seat so they have no need to agree to any of this. In fact, their standing is so good they don’t even need to listen to Dumb and Dumber making the same pro-Israel demands they’ve heard six gorillion times already.

These talks will go nowhere so long as Israel and Netanyahu are holding the pen behind the scenes. If Trump really wants the war to end, it’s going to rely on cutting Israel out of the picture entirely.
