What they did with the gender gap is that they took all men and all women and did a median on it and said 'oh, okay, women earn this amount less than men in general.' What they don't take in account is, well, pretty much anything at all, like women working less hours, women choosing less-high-paying jobs, and so on, and so forth. Now, if you take these factors into account, the gender gap basically comes out to pretty much nothing.

Pewdiepie DID say that he wasn't exactly an authority on this, but did get most of the general points right. The reductionist way of approaching the wage gap is to look at it at a glance and say "Ugh, that's sexist". Instead, the way to look at it is to examine the actual why, (the nuances, if you will) to see if every single boss in America (and even the world) is some kind of sexist bigot, or to see how pay is distributed between jobs. If one comes up with the conclusion that women, on average, tend to work less hours or choose lower-paying jobs, then that wouldn't be an inherently sexist statement to make. That's just an observed phenomena that reactionary spastics like Jerry take out of context as some kind of attack on women.

And yet Jerry has the gall to call this line of thinking "thought-terminating". What a joke.

Jerry, if you actually believe the wage gap is real, defend it. Don't just assert it. Prove us wrong. Send an anonymous ask to yourself, asking to outline the wage gap and why it's caused by sexism, and then do it. You can't just say that it's caused by sexism because statistics say that the gross earnings of men are higher than the gross earnings of women. Put your money where your mouth is, be nuanced.

The reason for this is because Germany still considers video games to be a toy rather than an art form, and as such count towards laws prohibiting public displays of swastikas. As a result publishers have to end up shipping two different versions of the game that have their own gated off communities which for a game with a huge playerbase like Call of Duty is disaster. Activision just sought the easy way out where they can ship the same version of the multiplayer everywhere

Ignoring his usual laughable attempt to sound tough ("My sister is probably transphobic, so I'm gonna beat her the fuck up!"), is there any merit to the "she ran away" story? Or what her relationship to Jerry was? Because he's made several references to her with her either being some kind of rapist (probably a joke) or her being Jerry's own aggression-relieving punching bag (might be a reason why she ran away and seems to hate you, eh?)

I'm not sure if we should just let this slide on by, either. According to his own words, Jerry abused his sister so much, that we can infer that she ran away because of him. And then, Jerry claims that he was the "Meg" of his family (which is a Family Guy analogy that means he was abused all the time... despite his claim that he's "beaten the crap out of his sister multiple times growing up". What an entitled prat.)

In fact, at this point, I wouldn't be surprised if that "play doctor" joke I linked to earlier was true, but the roles were reversed. Maybe Jerry DID diddle his little sister.

In short, he contradicted his own claim to total victimhood, upon claiming that he used to beat the fuck out of his sister, and has evidently learned nothing from it because he openly claims that he would still beat the fuck out of her, justifying it with his bullshit pronoun excuse.

But we're the basket of deplorables, I guess.

Of course, this is still a theory, there may have been other factors at hand, so I'm just basing this on Jerry's own words and his known sociopathic behavior towards other people.

Certainly does, especially considering the fact that Jerry never would have said that about Josh a year and a half ago.

It's no secret that Jerry will praise someone in his own circle until they say or do something that he doesn't like, at which point that person begins to embody everything negative in his eyes (Nazi, lacking intellect/charisma, misogynist, racist, transphobe).

It's become such a common occurrence that we're counting the days until his current fiance/wife, Lizzy, becomes victim to this.
