You two are talking around each other. The wars the founders fought were more defensive wars to protect our interests directly. Revolutionary war was because we didn't wanna be subjects of england anymore, 1812 was because we were directly attacked, barbary pirates were grabbing up our people. The founders were mostly against foreign entanglements. I think they would have found most of what we've done after ww2 as deeply troubling, but I don't know, I cannot speak for them, i can only twist their thinking into what i think it was.
I think these foreign wars aren't exactly in our benefit, or even in our best interest. I'm pretty anti war though, so you have to understand that, i'm only that way because i've seen it, up close. This Iran war is something I can get behind as long as it's just bombing their shit into the ground, they've been fucking with us, directly, for 50 years!
