I was under the impression from the dirtsheets that someone high up at WWE really liked Black & Rusev to the point where they could just hang around forever like Kofi Kingston, Nakamura or Sheamus if they wanted to. I don't know whose cornflakes Black pissed in to change that. I think there's more to that one in particular than budget cuts.
 
Bray's Characters would have been much better suited for something like Lucha Underground. His biggest problem was none of his shit translated well to live television. He would have fit right in with Pentagon Dark, Mil Mascaras and all the supernatural stuff that was going on there.

Lucha Underground was peak. My favorite match of all time is Killshot (Swerve Strickland) vs AR Fox in that Hell of War match. There was just something about not trying to ground the show in reality and treating all the supernatural stuff serious that made it everything click,

I can't remember which one of the ninja's it was (think it was Yurei/Mura) but Penta's counter of their diving senton into a fear factor was one of the smoothest moves ever.

I'm watching Raw tonight just to see if there's going to be any "We want Kairi" chants.
I bet you guys a soda that they keep Iyo and Asuka off TV tonight because they want this heat to die down.
Apparently #WeWantKairi was trending hard on twitter and people are pissed. They have every right to be, too. Asuka vs Kairi was a dream match that they had been setting it up for over 6 months just to pull the plug on it before it happened.
 
So word is Kairi's situation was her contract was not renewed so she isn't bound by non-competes and she's already back in Japan. C'mon Tony snort the line and make the call.

Black apparently refused to do business multiple times and his exit kind of fucked HoB over.

Rusev is probably keeping his head down and not acting like a mental case for once, knowing this is his last chance in a big company. Supposedly he refused to do jobs in AEW but in WWE he's been getting beat most of the time, including putting Oba over in 3 minutes. Rusev got to have a match at WrestleMania and is in the middle of the IC title picture, he doesn't have much reason to complain right now. He's a solid midcard contributor.

She might have just fucking left then.
It's weird to me though that she wouldn't stay for that match with Asuka, because Asuka had said before that one of the reasons that she didn't retire a couple of years ago is because of Kairi and wanting to have a match with her.
Maybe Asuka is on her way out next.

Sounds like her contract was up and WWE/TKO didn't renew it. So Kairi is like well fuck it I'm going home then and I can't blame her.

Still retarded of them not to offer her at least a 90 day extension to wrap up the Asuka story. I know she's gone for real because I just bought my girlfriend a kabuki warriors hoodie recently and looking at the Kairi/Kabuki shit now it's almost all sold out.
I see Asuka asking for her release because that match with Kairi was something she always wanted. It would be funny as fuck if all the Joshi left within the year.

Edit: on another note does anyone have a link where I can bootleg raw tonight? I was so mad about wm42 being shit and Kairi getting canned I cancelled Netflix.
