The symbolism of the original rainbow flag seems inclusive enough, a rainbow shows the full spectrum of visible light. I'm not exactly "progressive" but a plain rainbow flag isn't visually offensive to me, putting black and brown on a flag with soft shades of pink and blue and a rainbow on the other side is a fucking eyesore.

That flag was adopted in 2018, my guess is that its just brownoids getting jealous of how much attention the gays were getting. This was 2 years before St. Fentanylius got used as a knee rest in 2020 and everyone went out to protests just to get out of lockdown.

Last time they got to have a good chimpout was the Zimmerman trial/Michael Brown stuff around 2013-2014. I'm trying to think of "fiery, but mostly peaceful" protests before that but all I can think of is 1992 LA riots... they seem to be more agitated now.

I never liked that fags and dykes stole the rainbow for themselves, but I never minded the pride flag but once they added the trans shit not only is it ugly, but I can't stand to look at it. I now avoid a business if they have that thing as I won't support the tranny bullshit and anyone who supports them.

You might've seen this screenshot from 2024 claiming that, but I think its bullshit for a few reasons:
1. The flag is attributed to a specific creator in 2018.
2. This retard is claiming to have been on /pol/ for 17 years which is impossible, /pol/ came out in 2011 which means as of 2024, the board would've been around 13 years old.
3. Suppose his claim of it having been from 2012 was true, I also find this extremely unlikely. This is anecdotal and maybe my memory is declining with age, but the pressing issues on /pol/ back then were mostly Jews, Zimmerman trial, feminists/progressives, and general international news and banter.

Tranny shit was a long way from going mainstream was mostly seen as a fringe Tumblr insanity in the same asylum as the feminists screaming about patriarchy. Remember these two?

Bear in mind this was all pre-Gamergate and pre-MAGA. I doubt most /pol/acks would've even known of the transgender flag or its colors, I don't think I did. There just weren't as many of them and there were bigger things happening. Unless I see a screenshot from before 2018, I'm convinced this was just a ruse cruise from anon.

It's an exploitation of gay people and their movement, particularly the "born this way" and "conversion therapy is bad" tenets, as well as historical association of trannies being overly fruity fags and butchy dykes that wanted to be straight (or get into straight people's pants). They also somehow managed to get transsexuality taken off the DSM as a mental illness in the 2010s, only to whine that they still deserved medical transition to "cure" them. So treating dysphoria without hormones or surgery is somehow conversion therapy (and therefore genocide) according to medical guidelines.

Most trannies troon out for the fetish, anyway, but that's the current "logic."

The original flag was intended to be all inclusive. The "progressive" version is a massive eyesore even before the intersex symbol gets added. I despise it both because and despite that it's a great symbol of everything wrong with the TRA movement (and what it's done to LGB progress in turn). While I have seen the OG Baker flag being used more often in the past couple years, which makes me hopeful about more dropping the T, it's still far too common to see the eyesore to my liking.

I have always been a bit of an outsider in my family, invited to the big extended family gatherings but often left out of more casual gatherings. Always thought my family hated texting, only to eventually realize I was the only one they weren't texting regularly. Unfortunately I have always had a hard time remembering details of our childhood so that has always been weird when we do hang out and they talk about things I don't remember.
Ever since they found out I am trans I have been excluded from every thing and not welcome in their homes. When my brother unexpectedly died a couple years ago, at first I was told I wasn't welcome at the funeral. That changed only after the pastor, who is part of my sister-in-law's family, told her that is not right.
Yesterday I found out that they had a family memorial day for him and no one invited or told me. I have lost any connection I had with family, my wife left, my friends are gone. I should be used to this by now. I wish this didn't hurt so bad but I don't know how to move on.
