I am cats. Ask me Nothing

I know you're meming, but please be cautious with kitties and ivermectin, especially if you're using a formulation for a much larger animal and eyeballing the cat dose. Cat doses of ivermectin are in the micrograms.

Side note: if you ever get scabies and have to permethrin yourself, put the kitty in quarantine until it's time for you to shower. Their livers can't handle it.

And as many a pooner has found out, topical minoxidil is deadly to cats.
Horses can chug a g of fent and walk away from it, they have huge doses

Kinda on topic:
Learned about a month ago, it's possible to be resistant to fentanyl even if you're completely new to drugs. Which absolutely explains why you can OD on it first shot if you're taking street fentanyl for the first time, now that I think about it.

Sauce is mild pl: an ER visit with a Vet that really thought he needed to walk out of the ICU.

Butt worms must trigger ancient human instincts. They're not all that difficult to get rid of, but butt worms :(

Medicate cat (dewormer's at the feed store, and I think I saw it at Walmart), vacuum, sprinkle diatomaceous earth into rugs and fluffy beds to be certain.

When a cat shows me their b-hole, I might not sniff it like they want me to, but I always take a look. We're in this together against the butt worms.
I’ve calmed down and got a plan for today. Ironically, I get off work early for a drs appointment so I’ll also have the time to call the vet and hit up the local pet stores to see what they have.

You know the iconic villain with cat on lap started with the main villain Blofeld in James Bond? Anyway, I was watching Never Say Never Again and in the first scene with the bad guys, Blofeld is giving some serious speech, standing with kitty in his arms and that cat was trying to make biscuits. Awww.

But in this case they are sinister biscuits.

The Blofeld human actors keep visibly changing, but the kitties look the same. Makes you wonder who's really in charge.

Got some tapeworm tablets for my boy and putting it in a pill pocket was all the convincing he needed to eat it. He didn't even try to eat around it and even bit right into the pill itself. Made sure he swallowed too.

I checked for fleas and there's no sign of them in my apartment or on my cat, but I treated him with flea treatment just to be safe. Once the worms die off by tomorrow, he will be allowed in the bedroom again. I gave him a Fancy Feast dinner for the trouble and I feel bad for treating him like he was radioactive. He still gets pets though, but isn't allowed on my bed or in the carpeted bedroom till the tapeworm is dead.

So apparently she has blood test indicators of renal trouble, puzzling to both the vet and I due to the complete absence of expected associated symptoms.
Kitty update: After some reading and close attention to kitty, she has ammonia breath. It seems unmistakable now that she has fairly late stage renal failure and what I thought was allergic itchiness was actually dehydration. Looking at renal diets, not a super fan of that, might focus efforts on subcutaneous fluid administration to sort out her hydration levels which should help drive down toxin concentration.
