Might as well have a thread poll on which organ fails first? It’s a tough call.

Would she agree to having a shunt placed? Would she take care of it? Would she be *able* to care for it? Would she be able to keep appointments, and sit there for hours several times a week? Not even asking in a spirit of mockery, but actually trying to be caring/concerned. I have family members who did everything right, as far as they were able, yet died from sepsis while on dialysis. Would Chantal even have a chance?

Dialysis is no picnicking, but what Chantal will find really hard is the type of diet that she will need to follow. Since she will likely not going to have a full kidney shut down, she will have still some kidney function and they will want her to have a low sodium, low phosphorus, high protein, low calories diet. So, no fast food, little or no cheese, mostly plant-based diet. You can imagine how well she will take the news.

Dialysis will shut down any dreams of travelling with her handsomest man. Her only hope is having a kidney transplant. I wonder if any of her beezers will offer her one of their kidneys. I suspect that it will be a hard sell to her family.

That is never happening, even if she had a donor ready, willing, and able, waiting eagerly. I don't know if she's healthy enough for surgery of that nature, but if she did manage to dupe everyone into agreeing to all this, she'd fail for the same reasons she'd fail at dialysis: complete unwillingness/inability to abide by the restrictions/instructions/lifestyle changes necessary for success.

She is way too obese for an organ transplant. She would die on the table if attempted.

Absolutely not.
The standards for what's considered acceptable in organ donation is very sketchy at best and there's too big a push to harvest them for me to fully trust the system. You must be alive for them to harvest your organs, the bar for brain dead is low and keeps lowering. I would especially not do it in Canada, as MAID LITERALLY guilt tripped a woman into going through with it after she was reconsidering, as her organs were already promised to someone else.

Yes, she uses a scooter now by choice, but she does manage to walk when she wants food that requires her to walk. There’s no way she could do that if she was 550lbs. She’s short with a huge belly, but she doesn’t have ALR or Anna sized legs. 400lbs is believable, but not 550lbs.

I agree she's got that thing on 24/7 when she's not filming, but it's not going to do anything for her oxygen intake. All a CPAP does is keep the airways open during sleep, it doesn't actually help the wearer get any more oxygen than normal and it's useless when the person is awake. Chins just thinks face mask = oxygen mask, because she really is just that stupid.

This is what I keep saying. Everybody always talks about her heart as the thing that'll take her down, but her kidneys are the dark horse in her organs' race to the bottom. All of her symptoms match kidney disease/renal failure, from the slow CRT to the breathlessness to fatigue to her ugly splotchy skin (edit: Has her face between the purple splotches looked more yellow to you guys, or is it just me?). Kidney disease is one of those things that sneaks up on you. It's a slow progression that can take decades to kill you and during that entire time you feel fine, until you don't. Things tend to escalate quickly after that tipping point has been reached. And she's been complaining about "not feeling well" a lot lately.

I wouldn't be surprised if Cheesecake is at the point where she needs supplemental oxygen, if not dialysis, but both of those are just a bandaid. Once the damage is done there's no reversing it and dialysis only extends someone's life for a few years at most. The only way to avoid death is an organ transplant, which she absolutely does not qualify for. They don't give kidneys to 450+ pound medically noncompliant diabetic braphogs.

I've always stood by the rule of thumb that whatever rule #2 number she spits out, add 100. I can absolutely believe she's around 475. Even with the slimming filters, her body is horrifically fat and misshapen. Five years ago she was still a fat ugly bitch, but at least she could claim she was symmetrical.
