She would be one of those dogs that sit on the treadmill till the wall at the back end hits their rear, then take a few steps before sitting down again. Unlike a literal bitch who is cute while doing it, Cutie would do her ratface and teeheeing while doing it.
 
Dialysis is no picnicking, but what Chantal will find really hard is the type of diet that she will need to follow. Since she will likely not going to have a full kidney shut down, she will have still some kidney function and they will want her to have a low sodium, low phosphorus, high protein, low calories diet. So, no fast food, little or no cheese, mostly plant-based diet. You can imagine how well she will take the news.

Dialysis will shut down any dreams of travelling with her handsomest man. Her only hope is having a kidney transplant. I wonder if any of her beezers will offer her one of their kidneys. I suspect that it will be a hard sell to her family.

As with most super obese patients she will be completely unwilling to abide by the dietary medical restrictions, it isn't even worth consideration that she will try. She will eat her way through all health problems into an early grave.

That is never happening, even if she had a donor ready, willing, and able, waiting eagerly. I don't know if she's healthy enough for surgery of that nature, but if she did manage to dupe everyone into agreeing to all this, she'd fail for the same reasons she'd fail at dialysis: complete unwillingness/inability to abide by the restrictions/instructions/lifestyle changes necessary for success.

Would they even be able to reach her kidneys through the fat in this hypothetical transplant situation? Don't possible transplants have to lose a lot of weight to make it easier to get to the organs?

They wouldn't waste a kidney on her. Even if she survived the surgery, the complications her weight would cause post-op would be too risky. It's hard enough to get an organ, she wouldn't qualify now let alone when she's sick enough to need the transplant.

Also, organs are in short supply, and people on the waiting list are prioritised based on how successful it’s likely to be and how much benefit will be gained.

A catastrophically obese non-compliant woman with a multitude of other self-inflicted health problems, is going to be as low down the list as an 80 year old.

I wasn't even imagining her on the official waiting list, I was imagining her getting a relative or friend to donate, which I *think* bypasses waiting lists. I could be completely wrong, though. At any rate, it's hard to imagine anyone in her family or wider circle of acquaintances volunteering to donate a kidney. Maybe Teardrop LOL. Missy Moo probably would have.
