There's also the chance that people didn't finish reading the screenshots, half way through I was confused like "Wait, you don't want people making porn of your characters but you purposefully made them attractive?", it started sounding Class of 09 dev like. But the longer I read the more that cleared that up, he doesn't care if people make porn of his characters, it's just not allowed in the server.

And finally, there's the bystander affect. Effect? idk. Either way, this idea that even if you know something's wrong, you won't do anything about it cause no one else is. I'm sure there's plenty of indie fans who know this crusade against him is dumb, but they just don't want to lose their good standing in the community, so they pretend to also hate him.

Pretty much both since on one had a baseball bat is usually seen as more of a self defense item to most people and some tend to ignore how the anarchy types also use it for vandalism.

Want to add some thunk but in the sequel there's a character in the second who canonically has only killed one person. He is also the only person who can only use non-lethal melee weapons he can't pick up a knife and any weapon he picks up is disarmed.

I know for a fact the game developed quite a cult following among anime enjoyers but i never saw the appeal in "Anime girl gore shooting". When i asked about they told me it's gory and rough as brutal doom but i thought they were exaggerating.

I'd say its a bit grimmer than Brutal Doom, as someone who has played both Citadels and BD. At least with Brutal Doom, those are demons and zombies groaning and bleeding out after you blow them apart. In both Citadel titles, every enemy is some form of anime girl that can get disemboweled, their limbs blown off, and otherwise mangled while still visibly breathing; the developer actually got into some hot water over the level of violence when the first one came out.

Personally, I liked the gun autism quite a bit in Beyond Citadel, since it took a decent chunk of inspiration from Receiver in how you had to manage magazines and reloading, while not being quite as mercurial in the functions therein.

Also, she's barely even wearing a suit. It's more like a leather strap (in a cross-shape) with basic limb covers, I'm guessing in a way to use Christian imagery as a way of being esoteric like Western devs using Buddhist imagery, as the series is about killing Bio-mechanical Angels and Demons after God aborts humanity.

I've already said this about LonaRPG, and the statement remains true here. The quality of the game, the gameplay, the game mechanics, lore, etc. do not matter because the "game" is ultimately a vessel for pornography. This ""game"" is just some jap freak's guro porn. Already checked the reviews and a lot of people are calling it a Signalis or Mouthwashing clone, giving it glowing reviews for being slow, moody, wholesome and whatnot.

The only negative review calls it a "Silent hill 2 wannabe slog" and i would be inclined to agree tbh
