The only reason we dont see more evil stuff from them is because they have no power to do so. Chantal is worse than amber but only by a little bit because of that defiant disorder bullshit. Isn't this the kind of thing her Youtube account got demonetized for earlier this year? She was seething for a month about how fat people aren't allowed to binge eat on camera anymore (and get paid for it).

She free feeds "crunchies" which in the past she said was Royal Canin kitten food, so luckily at least a good baseline nutrition. She said the only wet food she will eat is Churu paste tubes and gives her one a day. Her excuse is that she does not like wet food but I guarantee BG is just picky and she needs a different brand, flavor or texture or even something as simple as mashing or warming it up instead of just plopping the food on a plate. The paste treats are like kitty crack and we use them at vet appointments with a surprising amount of success for grumpy cats. I have not had time to look into exactly what issues they could cause long term daily fed to a growing kitten but I am sure even if they stunt kidney growth or some crazy shit she would not care anyway. So far it is hard to tell if BG is actually too thin but if she is starting to get under weight she may actually need to put more work into finding her a wet food she likes or start feeding her measured meals instead of free feeding. Not all cats can thrive being free fed and lazy living.
She also mentioned she does not always keep her water fountain on, I am not sure why. BG definitely prefers fresh running water so likely is also not getting as much hydration as she could be but honestly overall it is not as bad as it could be... so far. Maybe she felt the pressure of all of the people watching her care for the cat and now knows she cant get away with actual straight up neglect so does *just* enough to not get in shit.
Back in the BBG and Sam days, Chantal commented that most of her childhood cats had been obese and most had died (or had to be euthanized) on the younger side. She seemed very surprised to learn from the vet that obese cats didn't live as long. Go figure.
(She commented at that time that it probably wasn't a good idea to free feed Sam, although she didn't actually stop doing so that I can recollect.)
It mystifies me that anyone could look at Chantal and feel sympathy, empathy, or even the basic kinship that comes from the presence of another human being. Chantal is a creature of pure malice, ignorance and want - a malevolent, malignant entity that exists only to suck the life out of other things until she moves along. She has been very frank with her audience that she cannot even understand any concept of love outside of transactionality and servitude; she was surprised when she learned that animals feel pain. I can't feel anything for her but a Dickensian-style repulsion for a thing that possibly could have been human but has willingly morphed herself into an irreparable sideshow pantheon of vice and iniquity.
I think people who think Chantal is the nice/human one over ALR, (like you stated) have never really watched Chantal.
Chantal is the vile one IMO. She hates everyone. She took water from poor kids in the desert….

She will easily gain another 30-50 lbs within the next few months if she's getting high everyday again. Think about what she's eating that we don't see.
The weed doesn't help at all. Personally, I've never seen a daily weed smoker be skinny or active gym goers. If they just stick to weed, they tend to be at least a little chubby or skinny fat.
(The only skinny weed smokers I can think of were people with more serious drug and/or alcohol problems, to the point where weed was the least concerning substance they were using.)
I don't even think it goes into the stereotype of "weed makes you overeat/gives you bad munchies" for Chantal, though she likes that excuse. I think she's just too far gone with the food addiction and weed being a depressant substance definitely doesn't help. She should've stuck to floor meth.
I can definitely see that. By herself, Chantal is clearly controlling. She probably feels like she can't control a lot in her life (like her weight, relationships, etc) but she can control her pets.
Chantal also denied BBJ food too. I think she would feel Sam a little bit better, like give him some wet cat food here and there. But she'd always complain that BBJ is "too needy" and feed her dry cat treats on floor cardboard.
I think she subconsciously hated BBJ. She's always had a weird hatred for her specifically. Sam was her man.
Chantal mentioned that when they first got BBJ, she was with Peetz and she's mentioned that BBJ liked him more than her. Maybe that's the start of her hating BBJ? Lol.
Although she hated being with him, there's also that story where she got pissy with Peetz for saying Grace Kelly was beautiful while they were dating.
So in Chantal Cluster Beeze mind, Peetz giving any vaguely positive attention to someone else other than her = blind hatred of that person, even if that someone is a cat that depends on people.
(Not excusing Peetz btw, he didn't treat BBJ any better. But even at the Villa, BBJ did clearly seek out his attention too.)
Probably because they make some noise, even when the cats aren't drinking from it. They're pretty hands-off, but you still have to clean and refill them from time to time.
The fountain I have for my cats makes a loud burring/bubbling once the water container gets empty, too.
My guess is that she will be put in a home pretty quickly, but what happens in the week or so before social services intervenes? Does she just sit and whine about being able to smell her takeout on the other side of the door?

She’ll do what many others are forced to do (including Life By Jen) and take up a valuable hospital bed while a social worker tries to find her a bed in a nursing home.
She was driving one night on a road covered in frogs, and seemed to take great delight in crushing them with her car tyres. I don’t think the issue was her killing frogs, rather the pleasure she appeared to be getting from it.
There’s currently a severe mouse plague in one area of Australia, and drivers are saying when driving on local roads it sounds like driving on bubble wrap. Unfortunately when nature gets out of control due to favourable breeding conditions, cars will be a leveler.
