Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

Guys, this is serious, this might send the USA from having to run a lemonade stand to a full on BAKE SALE to recover these losses. :(

You've almost gotta respect these "Fuck you, I do what I want" levels of bullshitting.

"United Statesian very bad gas prices"
They say "United Statesian" because it always triggers autism rage. For a variety of reasons.

Since my Autism rage was just triggered by seeing this term again, I figure its worth a few moments to explain why its both wrong and infuriating.

"United States" is not the name of the country. The countries name is "America". "United States" is the government form title. A "United States" indicates a federal union of internally sovereign states. Another example would be the Estados Unidos Mexicanos which is the long form title of Mexico. And in English, translates to United States of Mexico. So when someone says "The United States" you can quite correctly ask them "Which one?" Other government form titles include "Confederated States", "Kingdom", "United Kingdom", "Republic", "Peoples Republic", "Federal Republic" and everyone's favorite in this thread "Islamic Republic".

Incidentally, since Iran is the only "Islamic Republic", referring to it as "The Islamic Republic" is grammatically correct, as its the only Islamic Republic in the world. Unlike "The United States" since there are two countries with the "United States" government title. Incidentally, saying "The United Kingdom" is also grammatically correct because Great Britain and Northern Ireland is presently the only nation with a Union of Monarchies.

Grammatical autism aside, the "United Statesian" title is annoying for Americans because its done, usually by South Americans, to denegrate the ethnic title of the Americans specifically as saying they can't claim the title. Cuz well, aren't we all just "Americans" here in the western hemisphere. Which gets wrapped up in the immigration debate and general dick measuring contests between the Yankees and the Churros.

Add to this leftoids who try to argue there is no such ethnic/cultural people called the "Americans" in the first place, and now you understand why Americans get triggered by the term "United Statesian".

Calling me a gringo or cracker is less offensive.

The USS Boxer should be arriving in the coming days. If its not already been stated, it is carrying the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit.

This is one of the US Marine Corps best units. Now, to be sure, they are all "the best", but the 11th MEU is the difference between saying "We are sending the 1st Armored Division" and "We are sending the 101st Airborne Division". Both are well trained and equal units. But everyone knows that some units are more equal then others, and the 11th MEU is one of those units. These guys were the ones sent in the first wave of the Iraq War and fought the Battle of Najaf. They've not been put on a ship and sailed across the planet to take selfies.

Guys, can Trump stop fucking around? Strategic Bombing is my special interest and I am seriously debating about going to my old University's library because they have allllll the US strategic bombing survey books there and I would totally spend a week or two just sat in a corner reading through them if he doesn't stop pussying around.

Like there isn't even a badass aura around Trump like there was with Bomber Harris. Something something, akin to going: the Iranians entered the war with the foolish delusion that they were going to blockade the strait of hormuz, and that no one was going to blockade them.

Too bad they've all been served starvation rations of mystery meat and hummus for the last month while the brave and strong IRGC has been well fed on lamb and goat and other fine meats!
You joke, but I know the sand niggers ate better then the US Soldiers. I had to sit in a tower eating an MRE while the Iraqi Army literally grilled a whole goat in front of me and then lined up to carve pieces of it up.

THOSE FUCKERS KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING.

I'd rather have the MRE. At least I know the Iraqis didn't fuck my Menu #3 Chicken Stew, unlike that poor goat.

Pakistan has really just fallen out of the news cycle the past few days, hasn't it?
I again reiterate my 50/50 assessment that the invasion of Irans maritime islands happens this weekend. With 75/25 for the weekend after next.

The Kings visit is over. There are no more negotiations. And the unacceptable status quo remains. Resumption of the war is inevitable.

The "Bridge and Power Plant" day and the "Kharg Island" shit is kayfabe. The target is absolutely Hormoz, Larak and Qeshm. Its the only thing that makes sense. If you are short trading, get ready, cuz US troops are going to hit Iranian soil soon. Of this I am...Very Confident. Which is 90% certain. Leaving me a 10% lol, I never said it WILL happen wiggle room.

Ill go ahead and play devils advocate on the economic side of things. Idk about the catastrophizing, but it is a simple fact that increased gas costs will piss off the average American especially over time. It's certainly impacted my job, but not in an extreme way. The midterms might be fucked anyway, but it really won't help if he doesn't put a bow on this whole thing soon. I think it's also easier for the public to tolerate if it looks like we're in motion on Iran, so hopefully the hostilities resume soon. It's also just important to hit them again, so that the average person can see that this whole venture isnt meaningless bluster without a decisive end in sight. The maduro raid was just perfect because it was so unambiguous and decisive that the seething died down in a couple days. This war, not so much.

(We lose more soldiers and more material yearly in accidents than during this war, fuck the IDF. Since Oct 7, it has lost more men to Humvee roll-overs and friendly fire than from the enemy.

I mean, muh muh military losses we are losing :'(

We had more men die in a single training exercise in 1941 than in this "conflict".

Trump wants them lean and hungry, because the meal of the day following the go order is going to have the tears of their enemies as their beverage with blood sausage as the main course.

The media is really huffing copium about the American electorate at this point. The ideological battle lines in Americas democracy are so hard at this point and so thin that there is fundamentally no such thing as an undecided voter. Its why the gerrymandering issue has become so cut throat. Both political parties in America know who supports them. They can determine this entirely on the religious, racial and urban density lines.

Such that the borders between Republican and Democratic areas of any given state can be observed from space. Republican areas are starting to massively resist development and urban sprawl. Which means the "Suburbs" which once defined the American "Swing Voter" no longer exist. Now, surrounding regions controlled by the Republicans actively resist further suburban sprawl, their voters telling county councils giving the permits for new housing and strip malls will inevitably bring in foreigners, and worse, "Democratic Party Voters".

Example from the recent gerrymandering election in Virginia. This is the City of Richmond.

1777584795699.png
Everything to the left of 295 is Henrico and Richmond City. 80% in favor of gerrymandering for the Democrats. Everything to the Right of 295 is New Kent County, 80% in favor of NOT gerrymandering for the democrats.

The furthest extent of the blue areas in America have now been contained like cysts. They can grow inside their containment, but they cannot extend beyond them, and beyond them is actively hostile to them religiously and racially. In my own home county, its been wild to see the heel turn on Indians. They've gone from "Who are these guys?" to "I fucking hate them and given the chance they will get lost in a sunflower field." The local Indians colonized a nearby Blue run county. Needless to say, when it came time for developers to ask to expand the subdivision into our county, guns were quite literally grabbed.

This is all to say that this war does not matter for the American Elections. Those who support trump have not changed their opinion because of it. Those who don't support Trump have not changed their opinion because of it, and those who have no opinion are so small in number as to have no meaningful impact at all.
