some of the suggestions like the CC toggle being persistent are quite easy

Thank you K! I, for one, and going to be extremely happy to now see ALL the fats in high fidelity!

This “ability to send and receive money” issue is basically speech and privacy all rolled into one thing.

this is 100% the kind of feature that will help keep new young users on the site. too many 18-24s are shockingly computer illiterate these days, and having something like this that doesnt require jumping to another tab or downloading files is going to help more people archive more often. awesome feature. i’ll try to donate in a month or two when i have the spare change

On mobile, the download button isn't working. All the other buttons (subtitles, cast, picture in picture, full screen, settings) appear to work though.

Most vertical videos are playing vertically now, so thanks for that.

You know, this is actually exciting. I feel like I am back in the early aughts on evolving webforums again, if that makes sense, when people actually added features to their software.

So, when are we getting the per-user RPG equipment system on the profile, to really make this the 00s?

It is remarkably nice that every video now just works - before (on mobile at least) you’d have maybe a 10% chance of any given video playing without a prolonged loading time or buffering or just plain refusing.
Thanks, Null.

If you have feedback or issues please poost it here.
There is a download icon in the top-right. This is how you download the video. The video you download is the original upload without any modificaiton

The audio of the player is following my mute switch which tbh makes me request a button to switch to the native browser player.

I hope this behavior is something you can change. First time I press play it goes “through” the mute setting and plays fine. Switching screen and back (for instance to settings to see if I have an iPhone 15 or newer) will mute the video (no matter if I scrub or play/pause) if the mute switch is flipped.

On a 2560x1440 desktop monitor, many videos, especially the vertical ones, are pretty small. The fullscreen option can be helpful but it's not ideal, and often it's just as bad in the opposite way, sort of like trying to watch a 60" tv with your face inches away. I don't suppose there's any way to make those a little larger?

Thanks for all the work, I think it's a massive improvement otherwise.
