He's not even playing MM10 right, and especially wasnt playing MM8 right.

Triple blade is one of the most broken abilities in the series, you should be using it 99% of the time instead of the megablaster.

MM8 has some of the most versitile weapons in the game, especially flash bomb, and the game restores your energy when you die and every boss has a full refill before them, so you should be using all the weapons constantly, especially flash bomb.

The thing with fake it 'til you make it is it's only a temporary measure to ensure you'll do things, take educated risks, etc... and allow yourself to shine when you eventually find your opportunity to improve in life. Phil is among the worst examples for this as he's perfectly content begging on stream until he dies, is so broken mentally and paranoid that he's afraid to go outside, and I doubt there is a way he can shine. He's genuinely stupid, talentless and a loathesome narcissist. Thus, it turns into him telling himself all day that he's great, changed for the better... and the narcissistic shut-in cycle just continues...

I think what's actually disturbing about it (or it would be if Phil deserved sympathy) is that he can't even sustain the "fake it 'til you make it" act for long. He does say incredibly fake and annoying shit about how happy, healthy, and great life is now...for about 10 minutes. Then he'll crash out at detractors or trolls or LTG or Doody or politics or crime or game developers or Druckman or Nintendo or debt or delivery people or Street Fighter or.... Then he'll go BACK to saying how happy he is. That's what's fucked about his current mental state. He can't even pretend to be happy for very long despite it seemingly being the one thing he wants everyone to believe about him.,
 
So i checked, he made $385 in the segment where he tried to rewrite jacking off in front of children. Sending the stream at $605. So 2/3 of the money was from dentractors giving him money since it was May 1st along with stupid fucks like ICS on the skyjogger sock.

For some reason this reminded me of a part in one of DSP's earliest Truck Sim streams where he got extremely confused by the concept of backing up with a trailer hitched. The trailer wasn't perfectly aligned with his truck, it was skewed slightly to the right, so when he started backing up the truck, the trailer skewed further to the right. This is a consequence of basic physics that is intuitively obvious to anyone who has ever performed any task in real life, but Phil was utterly baffled by it to the point that he even did the cringe babyman thing where he held up his controller to the camera and showed that he was only holding back and not steering, as if he had discovered a game glitch that was making the trailer act on its own. That sequence made me start wondering whether Phil would fail the mirror test (the one that measures primate intelligence). It was, in some ways, horrifying.

Sorry for sperging out. Anyway the point is that whenever you find yourself asking "DarkSydePhil has done thing XYZ for years and years, how does he not understand how it works yet?" the answer is because he is not sentient.

600 dahllars is honestly pretty bad for a marathon like this. This is about the best potential for dentbuxx Phil could have hoped for - dentractors sending hundreds to make bad masturbation jokes, and his actual fans jerking themselves off to his redemption narrative.

And didn’t SSI checks clear on Friday since the 3rd is on a Sunday? Kinda surprising is all.
 
Posting to update my marathon tally list. Phil clocked out of his Megaman/May the Burst/Save State Scum/Ragequit Marathon with $610 (his count). Here's the updated YTD marathon totals:

Unnamed February marathon - $455 (early February)
RETROthon - $343 (early March)
Birthday marathon - $2078 (early April)
Mega Man/May the Burst marathon - $610 (early May)

He mentioned he may skip a month and do another "Vestival" for his next one.

You fag, every Megaman game works like this. If you spam the jump button, you will miss some jumps, because the game wants you to wait until you reach the ground before pressing jump again. This is the biggest reason why those disappearing block puzzles are so annoying, you have to keep track of when you touch the ground before jumping again.
 
Probably one of the most dented parts of the marathon was Phil trying to convince his retard brigade that there was input delay. In an offline game,

He was even using a wireless controller, and even then, when he tried to show the “lag”, the response was immediate. Did Phil eat the gum under the bleachers in high school?

Sir Gold did neither, he said he'd think about going on since Phil invited him and promptly ghosted his ass. Since it wasn't a definite "FUCK OFF YOU FAT FAGGOT" people here blew it up into Asmongold promoting Phil.
