Phil is the kind of retard that thinks that streaming in the highest possible quality not only makes up for, but is superior to actually having mic skills and being entertaining. As long as he's playing the latest game in 1080millionP, the money should be flowing in. That's all you need to make it as a Professional Gamer(tm).

Dunno why a Norwegian is complaining about Trump or posting videos on the American Civil War.

Retard Phil is grinding an endgame area and over-leveling himself, which is going to make the rest of the game very easy unless he does post story content btw. Damage is capped at 9999 until a certain point but his characters stats will be inflated. Normally this would be ruining the game but this is his MO for all games he plays.

Of course he is, you can't expect Phil to actually put some effort into playing a game. If he can't just steamroll everything with a single button, there's no point to playing the game because it sucks dude and nobody will support it.

Part of it is that Phil is a boring charisma vacuum. But another issue is that he's wagequit so many games lately. When he finds one that gets tips, he attempts to drag it out for-fucking-ever, thereby making him more boring.

His behavior when he gets these tips is strange, too. He doesn't do his usual bug-eyed stare as the tip comes in. No "I have received a generous..." No excitement from hitting the goal. Just a quick mention of the tip and immediately shut down the stream.

I know he faked at least one tip during the Casino Arc to keep the streak going, so if he can fake one, why not more?

I do believe he's faked a few, but most of them are legit. I don't know if this has happened, where he gets a whale mary last minute tip that seems fishy and the next day he gets whaled almost immediately? Knowing Phil, maybe he has faked a few (particularly during the king's streak where he was obsessed with "felting the trolls" and even had a few days where he straight up said he got donations overnight and therefore the streak didn't end) and then goes to the whale Discord and gives an earful to the retards and tells them to step up because he had to cover for them (I can honestly see Phil faking a tip and then acting like he did a favor to the whales) so now he expects them to step up to make up for it. I think he's done it for marathons or "rewards" he insists he wants because he just wants to drink and eat slop on camera. I mean, why not?

He truly hates when people make fun of him not hitting his goals, and if there's something Phil likes more than money, it's himself. He's said that if he had millions, he'd spend them suing detractors and anyone who ever made a negative video about him. Yes, fucking idiot wants to be Billy Mitchell.

That's because he already thinks he's a world-class entertainer. Didn't he refer to his old commentary as "improv comedy"? Motherfucker thinks he's Jerry Seinfeld or something, like he legit thinks he's peers with James Rolfe, and I don't doubt he's one of those guys who think they should be cracking jokes with Conan O'Brien. In his mind, Phil is this deeply intelligent, insightful guru with the most solid moral compass, principles and integrity that people should be listening to, and that TIHYDP began the decline of society as a whole. Not just the internet, society.

He has this ridiculously grandiose image of himself that he probably thinks that all he needs is better quality, but in the end he's just polishing the turd that is his personality, intelligence and goblin-looking face.

The tip at the end of his cod stream to hit the marathon goal was probably the one time I think he faked it. He was so desperately wanting that marathon and it wasn't coming. Probably pissed him off even more considering he didn't make what he was expecting during the marathon.

I didn't follow the PWR stuff very much, but at least from the Lex situation, it wasn't so much as if people were glazing her (at least not unironically). I think many agreed that she was just a run of the mill softcore e-thot (not the same as titty streamer but still was clearly using her image as a selling point), it was more about the idea that even an average streamer who puts the least amount of effort absolutely eclipses Phil and his 17 years of content creation in an instant.

For example, that Lex girl got dragged into this mess, but she saw an opportunity and took it, and even got the same Lego set that Phil dangled in front of the dents behind a huge paywall, only for him to take like 3-4 streams to finish while Lex and her girlfriend did it all in one stream while still talking with chat, rolling with the jokes and having a good time. Of course, she came to regret ever interacting with Phil's detractors, but ultimately she used that short boost to her advantage.

I think we all knew that the PWR thing wasn't going to last since the appeal was that it's a former dent who broke pignosis and proved to be a much better streamer than Phil right out the gate. I didn't see anything of him, but from what I read, the thing is that even if he was average, at least he tried, same for Lex. They tried to be entertaining instead of just sitting and thinking they were entitled to money. At least that's my take of these ocassional orbiters in the vortex, that anyone, literally anyone, can prove to be a better content creator than Phil.
 
Doom is in the running for his worst gameplay ever. Just dead silence during actual fighting and staring at chat anytime he gets any sort of pushback for help.

This may very well end up at the next GDC as proof that games need to be even more braindead.

He has zero situational awareness and just can't handle all that's happening at the same time. Just face tank every enemy. Same as his Souls strategy, just that here he can't be over leveled and kitted out to the max all the time.

It's almost as if DSP is incredibly boring these days and we latch onto anything that shakes things up a little bit. Also comparing PWR and Lex is pretty disingenuous.

If he was orchestrating gamergate instead of Zoe Quinn (and had the same political alignment), gaming would become obsolete in years because all the western gaming companies (and likely some Japanese game companies too) will be forced to make games where the enemies don't attack and do near minimal damage IN ADDITION to being extra politically correct.

Whats hilarious in his own defense is that "If the developers didn't want you here why is it in the game" and it's like clearly the story follows a set level requirement. You get Monoco at like level 25 and he's level fuckin 50 by now.

The developers intend for you to do the story at this level but Phil needs to overlevel so the rest of the game can be beat with auto-attacking.
This is around when he first got Monoco.
