This is what I mean. I don't get why Zoomers are so tribal about generational divides. We don't really see that with any other generation, and here we have it on display. A literal Zoomer frothing at the mouth because I pointed out Tyler Robinson exists.
What do you expect, really? The first real generation of mass "screen raised" children is the most dopamine disordered as a consequence, and paired with an education system that started undergoing enshittification long before they were born?

As the zoomies say, "its cooked."

Yes, they're mostly a bunch of bitter, nihilistic fucking idiots. What else would they be? But its probably at least a tiny bit important to be mindful of why. Otherwise, we may find it much harder to course correct.
This. Gen X is the manager class, and the Millennials are their foot soliders. Maybe the reason the Zoomer dislikes them so much is that they are literally this:
See? Listen to the zoomie, he aint exactly wrong. Some of us Millennials also watched our elders do stupid shit and learned "Hey, maybe that's fucking retarded." Its sad so many of us seem to have forgotten this salient fact.

I'm kind of like a white shitlib karen being offended for the darkies, when it comes to the zoomie question. I'm pissed on your little zoomie behalf. You dumb lil nigs don't even know what all they've stolen from you.

Has anyone here read Tucker Carlson's NYT interview?

He says he regrets having Nick Fuentes on the podcast, then says Ted Cruz is worse.

He then simps for a fucking SOCIALIST because they both dislike Israel.

He then says he's still in touch with Trump's son (even after calling him anti-christ).

It's all too tiresome.
If it makes you feel any better, apparently TCN only has about ~6x the number of subscribers the Kiwi Farms does.

The only good (read funny) thing Carlson ever did was over emphasizing the "Chan" in Chris Chan, making it sound like Chris is a chinaman.

Sounds like he is trying to have his cake and eat it at the same time.

Duffy derides Biden, Buttigieg, and Warren for blocking the Spirit merger in a vain attempt to prove how anti-trust they were, only to result in Spirit collapsing and thousands of people losing their jobs.

JetBlue itself is going through some financial turbulence right now which makes one wonder how such a merger would've gone had it occurred but even with those issues, from a business perspective, such a situation is more preferable then a total shut down which is what happened to Spirit Airlines.

For instance, I think that pragmatically there needs to be a large number of deportations. I don't think the shock and awe approach helps. I think it actively harmed the whole outcome of mass deportations actually.
I don't think there was ever not going to be a shock approach. We are far removed from people having common sense on the issue due to 10 years of upping the chaos. The Dems' main platform is being anti-deportation, the news will sperg out about it constantly to gain that normie sympathy. In a just world, most people would understand that you cannot feed an ever-growing number of millions of mouths. They arguably did back in the 2000s. But now, there is so much polarization around the issue that anything done is considered an act of evil on par with the worst of dictators.

Him doubling down really stakes the heart of protestors who have been granted free reign to destroy and get exactly what they want for decades. Protests spiral out of control because they are used to coming out on top. This is slowly being peeled away, and you can see the demoralization effects of the tried-and-true no longer working.

Will this hurt or help Vivek's chances of winning in Ohio? This feels similar to the Christmas day tweet-spree he went on insulting American workers that got him fired from DOGE.
It will not impact it at all because boomers are retarded and we all sit on our hands waiting for them to drop dead so we have even a snowball's chance in hell of doing anything.

I think people had common sense on the issue, as it was one of the main reasons Trump got re-elected and even won the popular vote. They just expected things to be done differently.

I also don't think he doubled down after the events in MN, if anything they seem to be approaching what I had always said should happen, i.e. a more quiet enforcement of current immigration laws. You really don't need to be shitposting on the DHS account, performative cruelty if anything ends up leading to a surge in support for more immigration. *Edit: wrong link, here's the correct one. Further research

I think it was a massive ball fumble moment, it was an issue most of the country agreed with and they went for the nuclear option burning all bipartisan goodwill from day 1.

Also, who's going to vote democrat because of this?
More realistically, the risk for Rs in Ohio is: will republicans sit home and not vote for Vivek vs a different R candidate

I adore how stupid-angry people get about a change that generally has next to no actual impact on their monthly expenses. At $2.50/gal, driving a car that gets 30 mpg 10 miles to/from work every day costs $1.60 per day to commute to/from work. Or about $35 per month to commute to work by car.

When gas "explodes" to $4.50 in price, that same commute is $3 per day, or about $63 per month to commute to work by car, a difference of ... wait for it, $28.

It's one of the least-significant expenses in the average family budget and even wild fluctuations to it have a minimal impact to the bottom line. If a $30 increase to commute price is really enough to throw your finances into flux, you have bigger problems, since literally everything else you spend your money on monthly (besides rent) can fluctuate more, namely electricity, groceries, insurance (if you pay month-to-month and have an accident, even when not at fault), kid's random expenses, etc.

Hurr-durr muh gas prices. "lol fuck off and drive less" is the correct response to such retardation, every fucking time.

Oh no MAGAbros I thought hybrids were libtard shit? But we should have had one all along once our based god emperor shoots gas through the roof?
At the time, the hybrid version of a car cost so much that you were never going to make it back on saved gasoline. Today, the difference between, for example, the hybrid Maverick and the all-gas is only about $1000.
A lot of anecdote and hyperbole. The bureau of labor statistics says the average person spends roughly 15-17% on transportation sure that most likely includes, car repairs, insurance, maintenance. But to have this, and compounding the rising cost of housing, food, inflation in general and tacking that extra couple cents, for a nation that typically drives farther than average to and from work does have an impact. Over a bunch of gay brown people several thousands of miles across the globe, it sucks.
Energy is a major part of the cost of every good, it isn't just your personal fuel consumption. How do people think food gets to stores? What do people think powers trains? How do people think the combine moves around a field? What do people think powers shipping barges?

Of course, a big problem is we're still printing a fuckton of money every year to pay for everyone's bennies. The federal deficit is now in hockey stick mode, and there's no fixing it without telling the olds that their failure to have kids means their benefits have no funding source. Olds vote en masse, so the hockey stick it is!

Anti-ICE fags BTFO by retarded security (AGAIN). This time, a website/app called GTFO ICE made by "google security researcher" and first trump admin leaker Miles Taylor exposes everyones information

I thought this was gonna be about a different anti ICE website that was similarly shit but no it's a different one I never heard of.

How predictable. Outside of leaking user info have they done anything at all? I am going to guess no.
