1. Liberals
2. NDP (Communists)
3. Conservative (Liberals in disguise.)

People are kinda stuck in time its not 2009 anymore all the cars that were new when that program happened are now used cars. The program was standard leftist grift of giving money out to people for a "social" good. I would argue bigger issues with the car market happened because of supply chains during covid. where used cars were more pricey than new cars, because there were no new cars being made for months.

That pluse low interest and covid PPP unemployment money slushing around distorted the market even further.

But yeah 17 years ago we scrapped all the used cars that were never replaced and thats why things are fucked.

I have zero doubt that this is what's happening and what's motivating a lot of people to act out this way.

My concern is that there are legitimate crazies out there who are believing the shit these people are selling, and will act out as a result of it. It happened to Charlie, and attempts continue to happen to Trump.

I genuinely fear for Erika Kirk's life at this point.

I agree that people need to move on about it, though. My dear old Ford Ranger might not like to hear me say that. Its only about 10 years younger than I am. I'm thinkin' about buying another 250, anyway. A nice 2023 with a fifth wheel.

Yes, in fact SNAP does prop up much more of our economy than is commonly acknowledged and could be viewed that way. The "banning sugarslop from SNAP" talk had some of them very fucking nervous.
Why should we subsidize GOYSLOP Inc or even fucking walmart's employees when their bottom line gets fatter every year?

But the very pertinent fact remains, the auto companies, or rather their lobbyists and lawyers, wrote a lot of it.
