In the Bible the apocalypse is just the lead up to Heaven's kingdom. You can't make it come early or delay it, you can't stop it, you can't even know when it will happen. Jesus's second coming is often described as a thief arriving in the night when you least expect it. You never know when the end times will arrive, so as a Christian you're supposed to just be on your best behavior at all times. That's a big reason why dispensationalists are retarded. Its really a kaballah tradition masquerading as a Christian one. The Bible is full of stories why trying to force a utopia and paradise on earth is both impossible and deadly.
