These moments are actually the largest reason why I have shifted so heavily towards the Republicans this election cycle. Its much less about policy and much more about this.... loss of humanity and basic decency. Openly hoping to see the president's head blown off, excited to see Charlie Kirk bleed out, making fun of a widow? Nope. Call it copium, but I still think the midterms will be closer than people think. I think more and more people are (much like me) completely against Democrats not coming out in unison with Republicans against this violence.

Back then the Republican party isn't ran by borderline-lolcows like Donald Trump but neocon warhawks like GW Bush and Bill Clinton was responsible for America's "golden age". This gives the illusion that "democrats are better" while both are likely working for the end of the American empire through purposefully creating unreconcillable social chasms and divisions.

Not to say the inevitable Digital ID Internet (you NEED to take this seriously because this isn't a matter of "just try to bypass it" especially if it is globalized) is bipartisan with both Democrat and Republicans supporting it and essentially putting the future of humanity at stake.

I know I’m late to this argument, but I drive old stuff from the 80s and earlier that does 25mpg at best (usually my bullnose F150 as of late that does are 15) so I always feel the change in gas prices well. That said, no one shed a tear for me when Biden caused prices to skyrocket vindictively when he came into office by shutting down pipeline projects and getting domestic oil production cut. Gas prices here aren’t as bad as back then and at least knocking the Iranians out from being terrorists gives us something of benefit, so I’m not all that upset by it.
