I am a 23 year old transgender man and I had undergone a gender affirming surgery (double incision mastectomy with free nipple graft) to relieve my gender dysphoria I've been dealing with for most of my life in early February of 2024 by a surgeon I confidently trusted with my body and mental health to properly take care of me. She has failed in and increased the risks of infections and harm by improperly removing extra tissue, fat and skin that was left over. As she left extra skin, she scrunched up the skin up to the incisions and created skin folds and creases that are not gender affirming NOR aesthetically pleasing or similar to a cis man's chest. I've been incredibly distressed by the appearance of my incisions debating whether or not they were normal, healthy or the skin folds would go away- I have reached out to multiple friends who have had top surgery, and asked around in transgender communities about my incisions and how my surgeon done my surgery and they've all concluded that how she treated my surgery and my gender dysphoria is unacceptable and medical malpractice. My surgeon denied there was a post-operative infection three times, despite other doctors who looked and observed my open wound- said it was infected.
Besides from the surgeon botching my surgery, before the surgery happened I was consistently misgendered (They kept using she/her pronouns when my gender marker is MALE.) and was called by my deadname (Legal cisgender female name) multiple times throughout my time by various of nurses and doctors. I had trusted my surgeon who has had history of plastic surgery and SUPPOSEDLY prior top surgeries she has performed and now my gender dysphoria and mental health has fallen down significantly because my surgeon was/is incompetent, seemingly in-experienced and caused a permanent scar across my chest, and this might result in two scars across my chest as I am hoping to seek a revision in three to six months from a whole different surgeon to fix the mess she made.
I was encouraged to make a GoFundMe by multiple people. If anyone can't donate, please share this so it can be spread around. Thank you. https://www.gofundme.com/f/eymfcx-botched-trans-ftm-top-surgery
It looks like the neckline of a granny nightgown, omgThey have a top surgery result that looks like bad upholstery and they're raising for a GFM:
Ouch. She got a bed skirt. We've seen botched mastectomy bed skirts before, but I don't think we've seen hers. Or one as bad as that. They have a top surgery result that looks like bad upholstery and they're raising for a GFM:

IMO it is (or should be) a known risk of trying to do top surgery on someone who's BMI should disqualify them from any elective (or even postpone-able but necessary) surgery. You cut off the boob, fine, all well and good, but there's adipose tissue all around the love handles so it ends up like this.Ouch. She got a bed skirt. According to her most recent update, she now just has boobs with a neckline above them. Net loss, absolutely unforeseeable, who could have imagined that elective surgery on a fatty tranny could have ended badly. Legit looks like she has scar tissue nipples on the side boobs now.IMO it is (or should be) a known risk of trying to do top surgery on someone who's BMI should disqualify them from any elective (or even postpone-able but necessary) surgery. Hello everyone. It's been a while since I made an update or posted photos of my chest from my top surgery. I've been delaying giving an update because of my mental health and just trying to focus on feeling better about it all. But many people are asking me for an update and since some have donated and reached out to me asking how I'm doing I feel like I owe this update for them.
Here is a photo of my chest now.
Good news:
As you can see the skin folds has flattened drastically, and the overall look is okayish. But of course since my surgeon didn't do it correctly the first time, or done the surgery in an aesthetically pleasing and cis passing manner, I still have to do a revision surgery to get the chest I wanted.
Bad news:
My insurance kind of fucked me over. I was supposed to have my consult appt with Michael Delong at UCLA on Sept 19th, but I was waiting on my insurance to give the OTA of approval so my insurance can cover my consult out of county. On the night before of the initial consult I was still waiting for OTA and they told me I had to reschedule before I coudn't reschedule anymore. The very next day of the supposed appointment I was told that the OTA was approved. This was no fault of my own and they aren't helping me fix this or see the surgeon sooner. I was waiting months to see UCLA but since I can't see Delong until JULY OF 2025 now...I have given up and became desparate. I am going to see my original surgeon that fucked me over in November.
I've been trying to get a lawyer to help me with my medical malpractice case since I realized how my surgeon treated me was not okay. Which I want to say was around two weeks after my surgery. I got that in Feburary of this year. I've called and emailed around 36 lawyers in my area and outside of my county in mt state, none of them wanted to help me. From what I was told by the lawyers who I did reach out to the last time I tried, the statue of limitations was due. I can't do anything now.
Good news:
Um... Seeing a surgeon for the revision in November. But it's the same surgeon who fucked me up. That is good and bad. I know this is likely going to hurt me more mentally and emotionally but I have no other options I feel like. I have ran out almost all of them. No attorney willing to help me, and no real dependable credible surgeons who can see me that won't take months to take.
Theres so many things I could say to express my anger and frustration with the system and doctors that failed me but what is the point in that. Patients just don't matter. The health system protects it's doctors so much even when they have done wrong or committed medical malpractice, they usually don't get punished. That is what one of the attorneys I called said to me. It's nearly impossible.
I don't need people to donate to my GFM anymore so please don't bother. Thank you for everyone for supporting me and helping me through this. I'm sorry. I really am. Please don't make the same mistakes I have.
And according to other comments she's made she's now on her second revision. If any other 'healthcare' routinely needed multiple corrective surgeries it would be banned. But nooooo, this is Gender Affirming, so they not only get the surgeries but insurance covers them, driving up our premiumsThere more and worse pics of her nipples going black on the GFM, also of incisions falling apart and getting all gooey and gross. A real greatest hits of bad mastectomy problems, and some unusual ones like the scarring that comes in at a fucking right angle like the corner of a book.
She posted an update to Reddit after things healed more but it still looks awful:

Umm, actually, bigot. This is a completely normal looking double mastectory, all the breast cancer havers look like this and it's normal actually.
Looking at the result and the post surgery pics it looks like the surgeon not only left the bottom of the breast intact and just gathered the breast tissue and skin from under the nipple and sutured it to the incision she made on top of the breast. The nipple placement is basically right under her collarbone. What a shit show and if this wasn't tranny butchery an obvious malpractice case because this doesn't follow any of the standards of a properly done double mastectomy.
why the fuck is her torso shaped like a goomba? There more and worse pics of her nipples going black on the GFM, also of incisions falling apart and getting all gooey and gross. This is disfigurement plain and simple. I don't know how someone could continue to live with their body having it look like that, let alone knowing they had it done on purpose.Has this person (Internal_Fly_4463) been posted yet? Their surgical result feels familiar, but maybe it was some other pooner.
They have a top surgery result that looks like bad upholstery and they're raising for a GFM:
Recognised that one instantly. Here's the original post ITT:Has this person (Internal_Fly_4463) been posted yet? Their surgical result feels familiar, but maybe it was some other pooner.
[EDIT: Sorry, didn't read further up enough. The original post ITT was an image. The quoted post above is a description that the poster included afterwards]Hey ladies, sorry for not including the post that goes along with home decor tits (wandered off earlier) so here it is in all its horror
Well as an update she raised 4.2k to fix her top surgery which is probably not nearly enoughRecognised that one instantly. Here's the original post ITT:

I always appreciate an update anyway, since it's been two entire years.
This chick was 219lbs (99kg) and 5'2" (157cm). The surgery was doomed from the start, even without the surgeon treating the skin like fabric. It's always exceptionally obese pooners who thinks that the doctor telling them to lost weight is transphobic, and not because there's aesthetic consequences for this kind of surgery.
How do you make tits flat and ALSO give them s double chin??? Unironicly fat man tits would be more attractive in this situation. Man made horrors.
I don’t understand how the surgeon managed to fuck this up so badly. It literally looks like the bottom half of the boob was left on, but like @Stan said its probably adipose tissue. I think breast tissue is easy to tell apart from the surrounding fatty tissue (at least it should be if you’re a surgeon)Looking at the result and the post surgery pics it looks like the surgeon not only left the bottom of the breast intact and just gathered the breast tissue and skin from under the nipple and sutured it to the incision she made on top of the breast. The nipple placement is basically right under her collarbone.
It’s got malpractice written all over it. I didn’t see any mentions of a lawsuit, maybe she had her surgery abroad? Filing a suit outside the US is probably more of a hassle. Has she outed her butcher anywhere? What a shit show and if this wasn't tranny butchery an obvious malpractice case because this doesn't follow any of the standards of a properly done double mastectomy.
Chinwe Kpaduwa. Seems OP scrubbed any mention of it due to her intent to pursue litigation, but based on another comment she made, the statue of limitations for the surgery may have already passed by now (though I don't know anything about California malpractice law, so take it with a grain of salt).Filing a suit outside the US is probably more of a hassle. Has she outed her butcher anywhere?
