The Democrat in Texas is WAY too extreme to win statewide. His far-left views will alienate the Evangelical voters. Also, with the Hispanics in Texas going hard right, I don't see the Dem winning. You need to be very socially conservative to win in Texas, and socially conservative he is not. In fact, I think Jasmine Crockett had a better chance at winning. Paxton has already won statewide office, multiple times. His opponent? Never run for statewide office. GOP should be fine in Texas.
