I know that the UK is an authoritarian shithole, but it's genuinely mental how many people are treating this like it's the typical UK government overreach we're used to. This is one of the few cases where they actually did the right thing. As this case goes on, I think I'm going to be vindicated once again by holding the belief that loli is a gateway into actual paedophilia.

Not to nitpick but these are the same thing with different wording.

She could just not know what the actual material entails and assume that the UK government is overstepping for the 4 billionth time, it doesn't need to be some malicious misdirection. Some people are just ignorant and go off of headlines.

Same, I was talking to some friends about this the other day and I am 100% in the camp of believing that the lolicon and vtubing shit is probably not even what led to him getting lifted in the first place. Something about this whole situation stinks of bullshit.
