Was the stream just him... streaming other streams? I think ultimately if he captured the guy going FAGGOT yeah there's no way around it, it'll be taken down and the strike will probably stick (if it is a strike - usually they do a warning first). The timestamp pointing to the only place where the guy wasn't saying faggot is probably just the reporter's idea of a joke. You have the ability to remove portions of your video (or the audio) in the youtube panel itself, so in theory this could've done-so after the fact to sanitize it. Just the word being present in the video, which the bots will find after you end the stream and it gets uploaded as a VOD, might flatline your reach / monetization / etc, but it normally doesn't result in takedowns / strikes.
