You'd be surprised how expensive and complicated making changes to theme park rides can be, especially for licensed properties that don't belong to the park operator. Relations between Universal and Disney over the Fox and Marvel things that were licensed before Disney bought the other companies have been strained, so it may even be something that they are supposed to change, but it never gets both sides agreeing on how and when to do it.

It may also just be a case of that having gone under the radar for this long simply because nobody in administration at the park knows it is there and no customers have complained.
