I never understood that shit. RDA wanted to retire and spend more time with his kids, his character got promoted to General by Season 8 so he could leave more often. Ben Browder didn't replace him.

Giving Sheridan yet another ex-wife was a bad move IMO. Should have let the character stand on her own or given her some other tangential connection to the main characters.
