About that, it's surprising he didn't have any troubles with his PC given that those 14gen intel are known to degrade quickly on that specific version of the BIOS he's on (0x11D).
He got theses computers late 2024 so it's been 2 years and he keeps them on all the time, making them more at risk.

Pigroach luck might have graced him with a good silicon chip

Considering that BIOS update can be scary if you have never done them and you read the worst what can happen it is somehwat understandable. BUT since it's his business he should do it (unless he wants to use it as an excuse to beg even harder and write off more taxes)
