Drink. Drink and him are inseparable.
Sort of like you and drink, benzos, codeine, and bootleg hormones that may be half chalk. So you look at your poor dad's life, see occasions where it was harmed by his addiction, and you fucking emulate him. What an incredibly good idea!
Don't try to paint him as the lovely saint he isn't
When introman says "He's a saint" he doesn't literally mean he's going to ring the Vatican and petition to have your stepdad's case put on the list for canonization. It is a metaphor for taking a lot of shit from you, shit of the kind, to badly paraphrase Winston Churchill, up with which a lesser man would not have put. He doesn't mean he never necked a pint or got angry at you, which he is perfectly well entitled to do for many of the reasons previously outlined by introman. He still sees your poor wee mammy driving you to the doctor, (allegedly) handing over her set of spare keys to your flat when you somehow (allegedly) lost them inside it, and in many other ways coming to the rescue of her feckless 26-year-old offspring.
Your sister may be doing her degree slowly -- so what? She still got accepted to the course and is plugging away at it. She's had a non-zero number of jobs, despite the debilitating effects of epilepsy. If we are to believe that she is a shite person owing to mental illnesses including, but not limited to, Borderline, it follows that we are to believe the same of you. What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander with goose feathers. Likewise, your brother may be doing his Highers later than you did, but what have you actually done with all of the successes you brag of? Fucking nothing, save writing incomprehensible screeds full of malapropisms (I read your PULL thread and that was the general verdict over there also) and hurting those people who, for reasons best known to themselves, attempted to be your friends. I wasn't surprised to see Lagoona isn't the first person you've accused of doing you kindnesses, or wanting to, as part of some hideous conspiracy or ulterior motive; before her, there was Kookerpie. That's because you would only ever offer a kindness to get something in return, or to get someone under your thumb, and you simply can't grasp that anyone would do things any other way. I can't wait until poor old Fionnbarr Lenihan becomes the villain of the moment. We all know he will. Celtonegroid anaw.
Back to your stepdad -- it has been carefully laid out for you why he's right about your having to "hide your fruitiness" on your upcoming sojourn south. Long hair on male-presenting individuals? Counterrevolutionary. You've been linked to pictures of a proper "socialist haircut," per the DPRK. You've accused cis lesbians of being "execution-worthy" and boasted of how there is no such thing as transgender in Shitty Korea. Well then, is he wrong? Is he fuck. If it's really like stepping into the society of his youth, simply having hair the length of yours would have been grounds for a thumping in the "ghetto" he "scraped" out of. He's trying to protect you. It might not have been worded super-sensitively, but it was intended as a serious warning.
I admit, finally, after all these pages, that I found some of your writing fucking hilarious, but it wasn't intended to be. That letter to the embassy! You essentially said, "Well, sure, I'm work-shy, and I've never done a menial task of the sort I'm now promising I would do, but that's because I'm barking mad. Damn psychiatrists!" You just took your usual metric fucktonne of words to accomplish said message. I do sincerely hope you get your wee badge, though I would advise against making further pin-holes in your poor stepdad's suit.
Lastly -- @introman and I have not always seen perfectly eye-to-eye in the past, but dude is making all kinds of sense all over this thread, especially bringing to light some of the misfortunes you've wreaked on those poor sods like Negi who have been guilted into buying you the means of your own self-destruction, oops, I mean self-medication of course. intro, I apologize sincerely for getting a bit worked up because I do know some real, passing, quiet, taxpaying, ordinary-life-living trans folk personally, and I now totally see what you mean about not wanting people like Aut to get their SRS (here, on the NHS dime); flip-flop again about identity; and an-hero in a fit of regret.
