Which is why I don't think LaBelle gets how taking/suppressing hormones in pre-pubescent children works.

I think there's some kind of propaganda coming out of the trans community that causes people to think this sort of treatment is okay. It also doesn't help that kids can be put on meds at a very young age for other reasons. For example, I've been on medication for ADHD since the first or second grade. In my case the diagnosis was correct and I'm still on medication to this day. However, I believe there are a lot of parents who are rightly wary of medicating their children at such a young age, and LaBelle even seems like one of those people. She would probably say that medicating a child for ADHD is stunting their growth as a person by medically altering their behavior and perception of reality to conform to society's standard, whether or not they actually have the disorder, yet would also condemn parents who refuse medical transition for their children because it prevents them from being "their true selves."

Sophie has most likely been denied SRS yet again on the grounds that she doesn't display any real symptoms of gender dysphoria and instead comes off as a creepy 30 year old man who gets off on wearing cutesy clothes and pretending to be a 14 year old girl, and she's throwing a hissy fit because she thinks it's so unfair they won't chop off her pecker.

This would mean he has applied twice within a two month period. That's kinda unnerving.

This certainly does seem to be the case. Informed consent clinics, especially for under 18s, are starting to come under fire as HRT and puberty blocker requests are going through the roof.

LaBelle REEEEEing again about shit.

And she explains what it means to be trans.

"People online were mean to me, waaaaaah!"

And a comic repost.

Time to bring back this old gem then!

Gotta love how "Conversion Therapy" apparently consists of having a trained professional work with you to pinpoint what behaviors and personality traits are causing problems in your life and suggesting you self-evaluate and make changes.

In the real world, that's just called "Competent Therapy Practices".

The whole "See a Therapist or move out" thing kinda suggests that her parents found her to be an insufferable trainwreck of issues that actively refused psychiatric help and was impossible to live with, so they HAD to give that ultimatum. Probably broke their hearts, but saved their sanity.

So if trans isn't about dysphoria and also isn't in any way related to your body is it literally just a choice for Sophie? Like saying you identify as a goth so you dress in black and demand everyone now identifies you as BloodRaven666?

Talking about being denied SRS I spotted this form from a private UK gender clinic earlier which makes it look like professionals are getting sick of this tucute nonsense:

And, to be fair, they didn't really kick him out of the house. He went to live with his grandmother. Maybe her house didn't have an extra bathroom and his room was smaller by several square feet. Knowing what a spoiled entitled brat Labelle is, in his head that was considered "literally being homeless!"

I know it's difficult to get a lot of info from people/places he's given talks at (Either due to them being semi-professional and not airing dirty laundry or being troon-fests who refuse to ever stop praising Labelle), but...

Does anyone think they could get anyone who's worked with or around him at one of his speaking engagements to talk candidly about it with us? I'd love to hear their reactions to him.

There are occasionally unverified "Informants" from such places that post on /cow/ and they all seem to have the same few things in common about him:

  • He ALWAYS uses that same photoshopped-to-hell picture of himself to convince clients that he's young, petite, and child-like.
  • He insists on EVERYTHING from Travel to lodging to food being covered by the client. This can end up making an inexpensive-seeming event become crazy-expensive.
  • He refuses to compromise on expensive accomidations. Always wants expensive food, pricy hotels, and the like. He's not above threatening to cancel if the client suggests something cheaper.
  • He likes to threaten to use social media against clients to prevent them from going public with complaints if they're unhappy with his fees/behavior/misrepresentation.

The last time anyone spoke publicly about her(former friend, guy at the school), she sent her followers after them and got them harassed(kicked out of their trans support group/in trouble at school).

I miss goths. But yeah, it does feel like transgender has become less about treating a deep psychological issue and more just a trendy way to say "FUCK YOU, MOM AND DAD!"

I guess this is what happens when the freshest rock 'n' roll acts are guys with handlebar mustaches who play the banjo. They're not very scary to concerned mothers.
