My sources in the NHS has reported that Autphag was found facedown in a bed of peonies in the Kew Gardens after a prostitution attempt ended badly after he tried soliciting 20 African men into paying him for sex.

Autphag was pronounced dead at the hospital of anal fissures despite there being no incidence of sexual assault or rape, and its speculated that his death came from his liver and kidneys exiting his body by force after finally succumbing to the cumulative effects of knock-off HRT, fatty diet, and black market thyroid pills.

a) He was indeed in London and is on his way back to home.
b) He is indeed in London and screwed it up. Wouldn't be too surprised, if his mother is bailing him out of trouble right now ("Pleaaaaase, fetch me up!").
c) He was either in London or at his way to London and managed to get in very big trouble, which forced the reponsible authorities to take action.
d) He was lying as usual and is right now lurking behind his computer to await the perfect opportunity to start shitposting again without being outed as a liar.

Tbh, I'm more into option d).

I can see there being a solid case for option d, especially because the concept of his parents -- his protective mother and conservative stepdad -- wholeheartedly endorsing this trip seemed like a bit much to swallow (insert either dick joke or bootleg-hormones joke into this parenthesis), down to giving him food for the journey (a mum wouldn't pack a trifle, or a US mother wouldn't pack a yogurt or Jello pudding cup, in her offspring's lunch without including a spoon, sayeth me). Unless, of course, he lied to mum about where he was going and why. In that case, you could argue c and d simultaneously -- that he got on the bus to London for a lark, would have been able to produce some kind of evidence of having been on the bus there in his cunning plan to make his critics think he tried to get into the embassy, but raged at a fellow passenger over some imagined or accidental slight and got taken off by the police. Or, b and d simultaneously -- he indeed boarded a bus southward, but missed his connection at Manchester, and rang mum for help.

Does anybody know how much a bus ticket from Edinburgh > London actually costs, and whether the round trip would be likely to leave him without prepackaged-sarnie-and-Red-Bull money until his next dole installment? @Fareal?

He was on a bus, he'd probably be screaming how everyone on board is a Kiwi in disguise and working with @Cuntster

@NobleGreyHorse off the top of my head, if you only booked it a week or so before, maybe forty, fifty quid.

I haven't done this trip via bus in many a long year though, the train is unpleasant but a damn sight quicker. I also personally prefer to fly if I'm going to London so I don't lose a whole day in travel time.

I don't know whether in all honesty we will ever know whether Aut went or not. That doesn't interest me. I have an obvious concern that someone with a serious learning disability and serious mental health issues stated they would sleep rough in London.

£12-15 if you get it in advance. At least according to some company called Megabus. That's pretty damn cheap.

Train is £47.50 currently (Again, cheap as fuck)

It is. I don't know quite how far in advance Aut booked it though, if it was booked. I feel like this issue only came up in... the last seven days or so? Anyone else recall?

I did each one three days in advance.

Timing: I could have sworn he said he booked it a couple of weeks ago, and was just telling us now. The truth value of this statement is obviously indeterminate, but he seemed to think he was being very clever, so maybe he did get the trip for the price Anonymus quoted.

More to the point: I'm only partly joking in my response to Miss Hortensia above. Where were his parents in all of this, if anywhere? I just can't see the mother of a guy with serious developmental disability and diphenhydramine-OD brain damage, serious mental health issues including delusion, a record of violence, and according to himself, the inability to navigate to his grandfather's grave in a different part of West Lothian going, "Here you are then, son," and loading him up with food and camping supplies.

The worrying word to me is inconspicuous. My training is in language use, and I spot patterns. He said it twice with regard to bushes: once in the spoonless-trifle incident, like he seriously thought all he had to do was go behind a bush in an urban area and no one would be even a little spooked by the rustlings of a possibly-homeless guy in a bad suit eating a prepackaged dessert with his fingers. (Cue "Aqualung" here.) He said it again with regard to exactly where he was going to be sleeping, and IIRC mentioned something about a tent. While he got deserved criticism for the idea that he could just find a bush outside his target embassy and pitch a whole fucking tent, or even just zip into a sleeping bag, he's not really one to take criticism on board, is he?

No, Chris is always "I'm right you're wrong!" even after proving how wrong he is. He's about as intelligent as Brad Watson and just as insane.

I'm used to having several bus companies to choose from since Greyhound is terrible and the train is too expensive, even if you get a better view of the scenery.

I'd also like to point out that Chris didn't know where the Best Korea embassy was until I linked the address. So no, he did not get his ticket weeks in advance.

There's like 2 here.

There's also Stagecoach, who operate local busses up and down the UK.

Why are they so cheap? I'm used to buses costing me around $100 for a one way trip to get to the next city unless I get a hold of a friends mother to cut the cost for me, which is a rare event.

I have no idea.

Doesn't the UK subsidize public transportation? Or is that just the railways?

There is a reeeeeaaaaally long spergy answer that involves public subsidy, Stage oach being a megacorp that runs loss leaders to kill their competition, and yield management, but...

Fuck it tl;dr its because Stagecoach are cunts

No clue, I don't live in the UK. I would like to think they do that.

Do they have wifi on their buses? There's a company here that has free wifi and a snack bar at the back of the bus for like $10 more than Greyhound and no stops between cities so the trip is faster.

WIFI HAHAHAHAHA SNACKS LMFAO

they are the shittest cheapest most bust out old coaches Stagecoach could find and it is common for the toilet to be out of use. The driver may or may not permit toilet stops. The longest jounrey I ever took on one with no working toilet, no stops permitted and no refreshments ( ot even tap water) was nine hours. It was quite a long nine hours.
