Assuming the trees haven't been trimmed in a very long time (which is probably true), then in the summer that eyesore hasn't been really visible for years. It must be a relief for the neighbors when spring comes around and they don't have to look at 14 Branchland Ct for a few months.

I have a feeling that the mystery photographer is just some non-troll who makes old-timey looking Black & White photos of decrepit structures. With all the surrounding vegetation, it has that "Life After People" feel to it.

Be funny as Hell if the photo of the boarded-up 14 BLC is sold for $1000 to galleries though, wouldn't it?

PS: This comment from the video's uploader:

"Actually, I was there around his place for two days making images and had the opportunity to speak with his neighbors. About half of them new he was well known online, and the other half had no idea."

I wonder what are the specs on that camera ... Hard to tell. Doubtful it's Brinno, Nikon or Canon?
Worse places to film all day than a deserted overgrown lot, reticent porta-potty, and uncooperative garbage can? Nah, I sure can't think of any.

Who are the people with cameras? CWC enthusiasts come for a look-see? Does that actually happen?

I'm a contemporary artist doing a project about internet trolling. www.marcfalzon.com

I've always felt that the Saga of Chris would make for an awesome HBO's America Undercover documentary. I also wonder why Chris has never tried to get on talk shows like Dr. Phil and try to use it as a soapbox to talk about them damn dirty slanderous trolls and deh whatnot.

IMO, this guy doesn't sound like he's well-connected enough to have any documentary about Chris shown anywhere. Just some guy who picked a bad major in school and doesn't seem to have a real job to show for it.

Also, he'd have a hard time trying to convince his audience to get around the fact that Chris is an absolutely horrid excuse for a biped in order to garner any sympathy for his fight against the trolls.

That's not really surprising though. Weens have been sending mail about Chris' antics to the neighbors for years. This just confirms some of them actually read some of the mail.

I used to write for fun. I don't do it too often anymore, because I don't have the time and I don't have the motivation that I used to. But I few years ago--back in late 2007, to be exact, after I'd taken a day trip to the Columbia, South Carolina botanical gardens--I started penning a short story about a modern-day historian who was studying the American Civil War. He happened across a ruined plantation home in South Carolina, which housed a mysterious old woman and a decrepit old man. As the story progressed, it was revealed that the old woman had been an amateur botanist during the Civil War, and her father had been an officer for the Confederacy. They'd been maintained through some strange concoction that the daughter had made.

When I saw that video, that germ of a story came flooding back.

Any documentary about Chris would be shit. Anyone who makes said documentary is also shit.

I think we can all agree a two-part life-action movie directed by Uwe Boll and Tommy Wiseau is the only way to get Chris to the silver screen. :story:

This just appeared on my Youtube subscriptions. Apparently its a time lapse of 14 Branchland Ct recorded on June 6th, 2014. The yard is really becoming overgrown and you can barely see the house. Not the most thrilling video ever, but no shit is too mirrors or something like that.

Do people really make one-day time lapse videos expecting to see the grass show or whatever? Lol silly hipsters.

[sarcasm] You're all just mad he's 1) had the brilliant idea to make a movie off Chris first. 2) gonna expose you all as the terrible, terrible people who forced Chris to BURN down his house. [/sarcasm]

No but seriously with the amount of material out there, someone could unscrupulously, ala Fox News, 'assemble' a story about how Trolls have been the evil ones all along, and how Chris has been always a victim. It'd be all bullshit, of course, but it'd sell much better than the truth. I always thought that if the mainstream were to find and report on Chris, they'd do it this way just because it sells better.
