Well, this outcome isn't surprising. When you spend your food and living expenses on LEGO, you can't expect a solution to fall out of the sky. I'm slightly confused though. Did Chris spend grocery money on LEGO and is now trying to get that money back for food, or is Chris just trying to get "extra" LEGO money from on top of his Tugboat under the guise of needing food?
With the want/need list, Chris was trying to get extra lego sets on top of the ones he's already buying himself. But he buys most of his legos via credit, so the minimum payments on his credit cards is definitely taking away tugboat money for food. This auction business means he's getting more desperate, he's begging and pleading people to buy his crap. So yeah, kinda both.

  1. I will be relisting Again, and I will make it Very Clear: NO OFFERS LESS THAN THE BUY IT NOW PRICE WILL BE ACCEPTED, AND ANY AND ALL OFFERS WILL BE READ AND DISREGARDED. I am not ignorant! I read all of those comments before I deleted them on the listing link here on Facebook.
  2. My 72-Year Old Mother and I Really Need the Money. Why the hell send your money to the damn Cwcki and it's Forums when the Actual Artist and his family could use the money better for Debt relief and a living. Good Grief!!! "

So I found this page for calculating fees on Ebay listings. Here's what it said for Chris's auction, with a single Buy it Now price of $1000:

So, am I reading it right? Ebay credited him back the $0.30 but NOT the $100 final value fee? Because that is hysterical if true.
