You already have no personal freedom. You are one crashout away from getting blackbagged at 2am, just that it's called "stopping crime" or "extraordinary rendition" in the US, depending on whether it happened in the U.S. or not.And it comes back to what are we getting for it, and what is the cost? I personally would rather not give away personal freedom, and liberty to make the governments ability to act "more efficient".
Lolbertism is a childish philosophy that has the same problem as anarcho-communism - both could work in small communes of maybe a hundred people, but civilisation implies scale, and the rules necessary to manage it.
Nearly everyone will accept some measure of tyranny in order to preserve order. I don't give a shit about junkies' NAP. In China you may have to slightly censor your speech (as if you don't in polite western society), but you will never see a syringe on the ground. China used to have Bataclan-tier terror attacks, then they decided to permanently solve the problem.
The list continues. California has been "working" on a high-speed rail system since 2008 with fuck all to show for it. China builds 2400-2800 km of HSR per year.
