It was gone about ~15 minutes ago I checked, but now it's back, I guess he just lowered the goal amount to 1125$. Unless it was already at that, I don't know what he did.

So that would mean he was up at 7:45 am PDT?
My money is on the Patreon site going through a momentary hiccup over DSP waking up this side of 11:30...unless he's still stumbling around that echoing empty house from the night before.

It was already that. It used to be 1025, then he raised it at the start of July to 1125.

He doesn't even make his own thumbnails? Jesus christ. Who are these people volunteering do the most basic of Youtube tasks for this lazy fuck? After you get the basic design down, it would take all of maybe 20 minutes to create numbered thumbnails for 100 episodes. I'm pretty sure you could set up a Photoshop Action to generate the sequential numbering, too.

If his paranoia didn't overshadow his laziness, he'd probably give them access to his Youtube Creator Studio to upload them for him, too.

Just to see if I could, I gave myself ten minutes to throw together a thumbnail for DSP's future playthrough of HuniePop. The image quality is terrible, because I was very insistent about my source material, but it is what it is, nothing I could do:

If Phil truly wants to foster a culture of positivity with the perception that his group is just a misunderstood gaggle of merry individuals who enjoy the good things in life, he should want to ditch the King of Hate moniker. The first thing people who have never heard of DSP think when they hear that is, "I wonder why he is called the King of Hate. I'll Google that." Then the full spectrum is laid out in front of their eyes before even entering one of his streams.
Then again, judging by his business and dietary decisions, self-preservation clearly has never been Phil's forte.

People are saying Phil removed his monthly goal on his Patreon, but I'm still seeing it. Any idea what's going on?

The goal is still there for me; it could just be temporary patreon.com issues.

By the way, I firmly believe Phil would be more than happy to finish just under his Patreon goal (and it's the reason why he raised it $100). That way, he gets a free grand and doesn't have to do a thing.

This is especailly true considering it's a Patrons' choice goal this month, which is whinge-fuel for 3 months each and every time. In the past, he's had to soldier through these things; now that he's got a big boost in income thanks to Twitch, he doesn't need that last $100-200 on Patreon to 'make ends meet.'

Huh, you know... it's almost like he doesn't have financial issues that he constantly complains about if he's considering getting a pet and/or fishes.

Also how hard is it to Google "Cleaner shrimps" and go lurk around on some forums and read what other users have said about them?

To DSP, owning a fish is simply a matter of buying a really big tank and dunking the little guy in there then dropping food in whenever he remembers it's still alive. No thought as to owning a heater, proper filter for the tank, the right tank size, types of fish that cannot be in the same tank, the correct food for the fish, cleaning 75% of the water once per week, testing ammonia levels.
As to the Googling, Phil couldn't even get right what bamboo plants to set around his house. And within an afternoon, he'd be the only person ever banned from a fish forum for repeated abusive behavior. Everything needs to be spoon fed to him otherwise it's an impossible undertaking.

The youtube comments are pretty humorous, believe it or not.

Not really, sadly. I don't really listen to their podcasts, either, (since I don't really care about JoJo, DBZ, comic book movies and the other stuff they usually talk about), but I had it playing in the background while I was working.

The mention is all the way near the end (2:35:20), where they're reading questions from comments. Someone comments "GoutSydePhil" in relation to one of the guys (Pat) recently being hospitalized due to literally being full of shit as a result of his terrible, terrible diet. The meme has become real.
