Oh she definitely could force fatty to get a job. She just hasn't reached that level of necessity yet. If it ever got to that point, I'd be interested to see how she handles the "I can't work, but you, Chrissy, have to work" issue.

My thoughts were always that they can make Chris try and get as many jobs as they want, but no force on this planet could make Chris KEEP a job.

Most animals in the world, when they get close to fire and burn themselves, they learn very quickly don't get so close to the fire. Chris is a special kind of animal that after getting burned, he proceeds to headbutt the fire and then demands the embers to buy him toys to make up for being a fire.
