Eh. Their channel is big enough that they don't really need to try to leverage DSP for views. Actually, their channel is bigger than DSPGaming, both in terms of subscribers and views. They don't even really shit talk him in the podcast, either. Pat just says "no, I don't like that comparison". Phil can be butthurt about being a running joke all he wants, but this is the bed he's made for himself.
It happened at the end, and they probably just thought it was funny, so they put it in the title. This is episode 207 of a series with other dumb titles like "Does Australian Horse Semen Taste Like Apples?" and "Push My Grandma Onto A Microsoft Update".

Agreed completely. It's not like they're Tevin where they're resolving their lives around constantly attacking DSP. They mentioned him at the end of a video and it got a funny response from Phil in all of his 'I'm not upset by this when it's blatantly obvious I'm upset by this' glory.
I have no idea who or what a Slowbeef or Best Friends Cast is but if it's making Phil provide laughs I've no issue with it.

Once again Phil highlights the fact that he never looks at what other YouTube personalities are doing. This shit needs to be addressed. In every industry, you see examples where individuals and organizations look to others for evolution within their field. People look to see where new ideas are emerging, so they can find ways to incorporate new ideas and expand on those concepts. In my particular field, I'm constantly talking to colleagues in the area of what they're doing and how it's working for them. I even take certain days off to go and see them in action so that I can bring new ideas back to my place. Some of the best things I've brought to my workplace have been direct results of collaboration with others in my field. Phil's dedication to not do this in his own work is why he is stuck in a rut. He can claim he's got some pride in not caring what others do; but the only result of that is his lack of growth. While other people on YouTube and Twitch find ways to innovate and advance their brand, Phil remains stagnant. While others evolve and discover new ways to promote engagement with their audience, Phil begs for money on Twitch. While others are celebrating hitting 4,000,000 subscribers, Phil screams about not meeting a monthly goal on Patreon while simultaneously restricting what his patrons can request for him to play. And while others are collaborating with other big names and making crossover content that goes on to score millions upon millions of views, Phil slanders and threatens bodily harm against people who beat him in fighting games.
Phil Burnell claims that he doesn't get himself involved in the drama, and that the drama isn't caused by him. This is blatantly false. He creates drama when he acts like a child after losing in a video game. He creates drama when he blames developers for his poor reflexes or lack of rudimentary problem solving skills. He creates drama when he uses manipulative tactics on junior high children to skim more money from their parents' credit cards. He creates drama when his crippling lack of intelligence shows on a daily basis. Phil Burnell is the center of the drama shit storm that circles his everyday life. He can try to deflect it off onto other people, but his behaviors, habits, and attitude are the true underlying cause for nearly every bad thing that happens to him.
