Yumi King is a Youtube personality who came to the attention of various girlcow sites as her channel, DesignsByYumi, shifted its focus from dolly makeup, Lolita-inspired sewing videos, and children's craft projects to hauls featuring piles of cheap "sexy elegant high class" junk and increasingly unsettling slice-of-life vlogs.

Because her cute DIY projects and beginner-appropriate sewing tutorials had attracted a largely underaged following, Yumi became the subject of criticism as she veered into apparent ddlg/pet play fetish territory. Her childlike persona, coupled with the substantially older appearance of her boyfriend, raised concerns among some viewers.

At first, Yumi attempted to stave off criticism by photoshopping her boyfriend to appear younger.

Later, she just stopped giving a fuck.
Tl;dw: A sturdy leather collar hangs casually from Yumi's bedknob. She wears a pet collar and eats from a cat bowl sold at pet stores. Her obviously middle-aged boyfriend speaks to her as if she were a very young child, seems to control her diet, and feeds her lots of pills. Elsewhere, he suggests she should skip dessert to watch her figure, despite her slender physique.

She established a second channel, "Yummy King," featuring deeply baffling "eating videos."

Tl;dw:A profoundly un-erotic video in which a childlike Asian woman wearing a red wedding dress gags on food served to her by an older man. Whose fetish is this?

She has promised a forthcoming third channel for "weirder content." One wonders what this could possibly be.

In fact, "Yumi" is a 26 year old university graduate named Yuhan Zhang. In her early 20s, she emigrated with her mother and stepfather from Nanjing, China to Washington state. After completing a degree in interactive media design, she announced her engagement, moved into her fiance's home near Douglasville, Georgia, and began planning their wedding. Post-wedding, Yumi looks forward to being a housewife and having a daughter with whom she can dress in matching clothes.

Tl;dw: Yumi and her fiance act out their strange relationship while shopping at an Asian market. It is like watching a pair of AIs trained on stereotypes from /r/hapas attempting to approximate human relationship behavior. Note the reactions of normal shoppers in the background.

In conclusion, Yumi King/Yuhan Zheng is a strange person who makes questionable life choices and tends to take criticism poorly. Her online footprint is substantial.

God those videos are so cringe inducing. Her whole shtick is ear-grating, and he's a condescending buttgoblin. A lot of the Asian market video was just him complaining about how he didn't know what something was, and passively aggressively making it obvious he didn't want to buy it. He acted more like a child in that video than she did.

Ah, Yumi. I follow her on YT but haven't watched her in a long time. I'm pretty sure this one had a "How to look Korean/Japanese" tute video a while back.

It's possible he was an orbiter back from when she did cosplays, or that he was just a creepy orbiter in general who just happened to get lucky.

Dude must have a fetish for racist stereotypes of Asian women, though. I don't know how else he'd deal with the childish behavior and horrendous engrish accent, even if she only does that on camera.

Chances are she doesn't have any Japanese blood. Their modus operandi was to murder their victims after they'd had their fun.

Anyway, there's more dignified ways to get a green card than shacking up with a pedo fetishist, but whatever floats her boat I guess.

Her voice comes off like some second-rate version of Venus Angelic. As for the boyfriend himself, not only does he sound like a whiny buttgoblin, his voice does give off the vibe of a middle-aged man who would have yellow fever (which doesn't help considering the guy does look to be in his 40's).

Not only did the Japanese attack Nanking, one can also consider how China feels about Japan. A Chinese person claiming to be Japanese would no doubt be seen as an exceptional move but then again, how else can Yumi make some profit from weebs? As for shacking up with what looks like a pedo fetishist, one wouldn't be surprised at the relationship taking sharp turns and going off badly considering how the boyfriend could be if the Chinese supermarket video is anything to go by.

Despite looking and acting exactly like a weaboo, she claims she didn't choose her handle from weeby sources. In a Q&A video she did a couple months ago, she said she chose it because it's the Chinese word for corn. She also insists in the description that we call her Little Yumi (Lil Corn) even though this is a woman who's a hop and a skip away from her thirties.

In order to stay in the US, she would either have to have a H1B visa, or a K visa (for marriage). A K visa definitely has a cut-off point of three years, and she can not get a green card unless they've gotten married and lived together for another three to five years.

I think they're using the videos as an argument for ICE later down the line. "See how great and happy we are together?"

She likely had or has a job in Atlanta, but found this shlub and took the path of least resistance.

As for the sleeping in separate rooms until marriage part of the video...:lol::lol::lol: Her parents know what's going on if they live together, so there's no need for separate rooms. She's doing that shit to stay away from his weeb ass.

I clearly spend too much time in the fat part of the farms because after the Amberlynn thread this girl is visually refreshing. Well, she is until you see her swollen salivary glands. Methinks this girl pukes up a lot that she eats. Could that explain all the vitamins? He's making sure she gets some nutrients, maybe?

They seem to have a schtick. Like they are one of those couples who affect irritation or fake argue because they think it's fun. I may be reading it wrong but their interactions seemed more like they were playing roles - she's the Manic Pixie Asian Girl and he's the principal from Ferris Bueller. If he found being on camera that annoying and if he is genuinely dictatorial to his submissive little stereotype, surely he could tell her to stop and she'd obey.

But then she eats out of a cat bowl and wears a collar... So who knows?

Also why the fuck do these men own these huge houses that they leave largely unfurnished? He and Onision both have sad, cold, impersonal homes that look completely bare.
