When I was in high school, Emo/Goth was the big thing. Everyone was trying to out-emo the others with darker poetry, the most safety pins, the most tortured soul, or being some special snowflake type of vampire that feeds on sadness or something.

Not much different than what kids are doing with genders. Thing is, nobody was filing their teeth, drinking real blood, or disfiguring themselves for a fad like some of these genderspecials.

So far, a goth trans* woman is gonna win the gold medal with her "How dare you talk on behalf of goths!".
But the trans thats been a furry for over a decade is slowly catching up, by stating "oh furries coming out make me ashamed!". He's slowly getting to second place in front of the bi-trans-goth-wiccan in third, who might I add felt traumatized that he had to hide his magical pentacles from his mom, and that now he happily shares how "my mother had to die so I could be myself but thats ok".

But the problem is that most of them are 30 to 40 year old men who want to "transition" into quirky/angsty teenage girls.

If LaBelle and co. actually paid attention, they'd see that this policy is because the medical expenses of transitioning are too high to let transsexual people serve in the military. There was absolutely nothing discriminatory about anything Trump said in his tweets regarding the matter, which tbh even I found surprising. He didn't say that they were freaks or fucked in the head (even though that description fits all of the transgender lolcows featured on this site), just that covering their medical expenses would cost too much. They cannot afford to accommodate them financially.
