Because there isn't a drop of genuine appreciation in any of that post aside from "Thank you for your money." Nothing about thanking you for watching his videos, spending time with him on his stream, or giving him the opportunity to play games he otherwise wouldn't by voting for them on Patreon - You know, the things a normal, well-adjusted person would thank their supporters for. It's Phil, so "support" is a dog whistle for money. He thinks you're obligated to watch his videos, join his stream, and donate to his Patreon.

The comparisons between those two are as follows:
- They each look down their noses at "the common viewer" as if they are the chosen ones in their ivory towers not meant to be approached by mere mortals
- The way they treat their own fans as useless pieces of crap once they have "won them over" by presenting the message of "watch my stuff then shut up"
- Their inability to concede any fault on their own part no matter what they have done which contradicts previous statements and positions
- Each of their insatiable very public lust for the almighty dollar when their income is threatened in any way
- How they are both extremely easily triggered into a monumental meltdown with even the slightest provocation

Angry Joe may have more talent as a video editor than DSP, but he is just as awful of a person and is soooo close to becoming as disconnected from reality as Phil is in his bamboo populated Patreon palace.

Hell, DSP's been called the Chris Chan of Let's plays before.
The way they demonize any opposition, (in CWC's case it's dirty dang trolls, in DSP's case it's mentally ill sociopaths and/or detractors)them being fat entitled whiny manchildren, being completely inept at anything they do (although both differ in which kind of content they produce, obviously)
Both ebeg like crazy and both are also horrible with finances and money in general, and while DSP is nowhere near as gullible as Chris is, he's been proven to be very gullible at times (Laveria's the best example to come to mind)
Hell, they both have their -isms (like DSP's "ohkay?" and "KWALITY KAHNTENT" or CWC's tugboat, china etc)
They do differ quite a bit though (outside of the previously mentioned): DSP is not trans, he never was a VIRGIN WITH RAGE not to mention the fact he actually had a real girlfriend as opposed to Chris, doesn't have the speech impediment that Chris does, and while recent, he hasn't thrown a fit over Trump being elected.

If DSP's situation right now would not have been this bad (Leanna left him, being on his last legs on youtube etc.), he sure would have made a video adressing the AJ drama like he did with the Fine Bros. just to jump on the bandwagon. Phil took a stab at AJ back then when Joe had trouble with copyright claims because he wasn't a managed partner like he was with Machinima. It i safe to say that Phil cannot stand AJ and would sure take some thousand views in a fully monetized video just to show the world that he is the better man of the two.

It's kinda relieving that these video game parasites hear the death knell one by one now. No matter what people say about the AVGN, he never came across this unlikeable to his fans than Phil and Joe do.

And if ever something happens to JohnRambo (let's hope not) you know who will make a fully-monetized drama video about his demise.

It's funny because he was already poking fun at AJ's issues before, and making fun of him for being "jealous" of Phil, but he's trying to be friendly only because they're both eerily similar to each other in multiple ways.

Phil just said during stream that he has a huge bump on the top of his head and scars towards the back because of chicken pox...that "If I ever go bald, I will look really weird."
We will see in 5 years. :optimistic:
Incidentally, thankfully I did not have any abnormalities on my head when this occurred.
Phil will apparently not be so fortunate.
