Not to completely derail the thread, but the like your tog keep it at home also a cultural issue.

In some countries (often 3rd world, but not exclusively) it's the norm to let your dog out unleashed and unchained, even in cities.

In Poland, for example I often see dogs, most of them with a home, judging from how well fed they are, wandering around minding their doggy business.

Funny thing is that they walk on the sidewalks, and usually know how traffic lights and crosswalks work. So sometimes you'd see a crosswalk with 4 people and l dog, unrelated to them, stand and wait for the light to turn green...

I know this isn't such a high-traffic thread, but I feel like it's getting a little off-topic. There's a pets thread but it's about people showing off their pets (not talking about pet ownership in general.) and I don't want to derail that either. If a mod could please advise on whether or not this discussion should be taken there, or into OT, or a new thread, or if I should just STFU about dogs or whatever... I would really appreciate it. thanks.

until then...
P much. That and the country people who let their dogs run are either people who's dogs stay on their land or people who's dogs eventually get shot for harassing cattle/the neighbors dog/ getting bitey with strangers or get killed by animals.

In my experience people who let their dogs run are like the ghetto mom on the news saying how her boy "didn't do nothin'" when he robbed the gas station and the person who shot him in the course or his armed robbery is the real criminal. The dogs that are "good dogs" stay close to home and don't cause problems. The dogs that roam tend to be the same ones that bite kids and fight other dogs. Then, the owners get all confrontational with the guy who shot it like he's the one who started their problem. Dogs are cool when you're part of their pack, but at the end of the day they're territorial predators with a pack mentality that have the potential to be dangerous to other people and their livestock.

TL;DR if you like you dog, keep it home.
I have dogs and Some of the time I live in the mountains with them. A few of the people around where I live there let their hunting dogs run free. It's shitty and irresponsible. They get into trash cans, shit everywhere, kill chickens and cats, get into fights with other dogs, and sometimes get into it with the local wildlife too. (know what's way worse than picking the 20 ticks out of your dog's ears? Your dog sporting Eau de "I-lost-a-fight-with-a-fucking-skunk" for a solid week, that's what.) I've had to fire warning shots once or twice, usually when some assholes dog comes onto my property and then decides to growl and bare their teeth at me like I'd better leave if I knew what was good for me.

Nope.

Chiming in, the person who made the timelapse video, "KnownTK", is a former editor of Encyclopedia Dramatica and contributed heavily to their page on VampiricSpektor. I probably botched the spelling of that but whatever. His "Malcurian" project was tangentially related to his ED trolling and he was formerly the host of a monthly web show called "The Lulz News Network" that he has conveniently taken down from YouTube (it was about as terrible as the name implies). Makes sense that former EDiot would become a "2edgy4u" avant garde artist.

Just in case anyone was wondering, since there was some discussion over who made the time lapse and why.

If true then even more reason to call bullshit on this. If Skyraider gave us this info then I'd just have to put doubt on the neighbor who told the story.

Skyraider doesn't bullshit.

Mm, yeah, so the whole thing's made up.

I'm not sure to be honest. Clearly the person who made the video visited the 14BC property for whatever reason. It would not surprise me if the person was trying to put together some "art project" about Chris or Internet trolling while using Chris as the keystone example.

I can't access the sites at the moment but if you search for ["Lulz News Network" Malcurian] you'll get VampiricSpektor's ED page with a quote from "KnownTK" (Alex "Romantic" Temple) and if you search for ["Lulz News Network" KnownTK] you'll get some results from a video streaming site called "popscreen". Again I can't verify the links since they won't load but there's your evidence.

For some reason it seems his YouTube channel has lost its username, probably because it was linked up with Google+ at some point. Since his videos are long gone, to demonstrate this is KnownTK's channel, here's a video playlist titled "Let's cook with TK":
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL751B556BF1DD1514

The playlist containing the Lulz News Network videos are still there but they've all been made private: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL591D77DDE42496E5

As for the link that was posted earlier (http://www.marcfalzon.com) I can't verify if that's his real name or not. Looks trendy enough to kinda line up with the rest of the goings on.

Also, I realize in the YouTube comments that KnownTK stated that he'd be making an account and that it was "waiting admin approval". Just to clarify, I am not him speaking in the third person. You'll have to just take my word on that and assume that a "contemporary artist" probably wouldn't use the screenname "Super Sexy Action Furry".

Thing is though, most people don't like snakes and considering media likes to depict them as some sort of evil creature, Chris likely had no problem running over it.
The really sad/fucked up thing is, if my dad was driving alone and saw a snake in the road I can easily see him running it over on purpose, regardless if it's a rattlesnake or not.

Just because you don't like something, and just because it can be harmful to people doesn't give you the right to kill it for no reason.

Okay I understand almost none of that. I apologize for that, I'm guessing this all took you a minute but it's just too far down the rabbit hole for me -- I don't know about these people and I don't see it's going to pay off much to learn. "Lulz News Network". Christ.

But the reason I say that Mm, Yeah, those stories are probably fake is that if the guy was just Random Art Guy, it's possible he could have read a bit about Chris and undertaken this weird ass project. Maybe he lives in the area or something? Sure. And he doesn't really know what he's getting into and innocently asks around, not knowing what he's going to hear.

But if the guy was an active user of ED and such a /b/tard that he launched something called the "Lulz News Network" -- sorry, that taints everything, it's the original sin and there's no atonement for it. Such a person speaks with neighbors, who reveal something truly horrible and hateworthy about Chris -- an act really as bad as the worst he's done, and possibly worse than everything put together? and includes a nice detail about indecent exposure in front of a minor too? From the Original Creator of the "Lulz News Network"? It's not even weenish. It's like... neo-weenish.

What strikes me as weird is that two of the four people had no idea who he was, and two of the four told stories about him killing dogs, threatening people and exposing himself to minors.
The way I read that comment is that all his neighbors know who he is, but only half of them know that the internet also knows who he is. So they all know he's horrible, but not all know he's also the infamous Chris-Chan. Also we don't know who these neighbors are; some are next door, but some could be from up the street who only know of 14BLC as "that damn eyesore where those filthy squatters hang out."
Buuuuut, at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if he made up some excuse like, "well it was a stray dog" or "the neighbors should have had it leashed." Still, if this is true I'll probably lose my shit.
It really says something about Chris that people have to make a conscious effort to give him the benefit of the doubt.
Not sure how public this is, but he tried stealing his neighbor's dog before because it managed to get out of its lead. Chris' excuse was that it was their fault because they should have had it on a leash. He reluctantly gave the dog back, because the it was on a leash and it just happened to get out. Chris logic.
This is the first I've heard of that, so I'm going to need a little confirmation, but I can totally see him doing it. If true, I'm betting he was at his most sanctimonious.
Chris doesn't live in a super rural area. The people around there still keep their dogs tethered/contained because it's still close to a couple of main roads.
Thing is, though, dogs do slip their tethers and they do get loose. Especially if some neighborhood autistic fuck isn't keeping his unspayed beagle in heat contained. So yes, there is some responsibility on the dog's owner, but a lot still rests on the head of whoever killed the dog.
So how can you be so sure that Chris never hid a body in his life?
Because hiding a body takes a lot more work than most people realize and certainly more work than Chris would ever put into anything.
I'm not surprised that half the people said they didn't know who Chris was. If some hipster came to my door asking about my neighbors I would say I didn't know anything too.
That seems pretty likely too.
I think we were somewhere in the Tard Nebula last time someone checked.
Trapped and becalmed in the doldrums of the Tardgasso Sea.

Well, some of the idiots that usually writes on Chris's Facebook and who are lurking here will probably mention that, but till than, i call bullshit (but i wish, in an evilish non-animalistic way, that it's true)

What people didn't realise is that the Magical Man video wasn't a skit. He actually figured out a way to briefly turn into a successful human being. He made good on his claim that he'd work on the potion, though. He made a potion that split off his successful side from his Chris-Chan side.

The successful side left Ruckersville and made it big in the comic book market, while Chris-Chan remains a dessicated decaying husk repeating the same mistakes for the rest of his life, until he becomes worm chow.
