It could "just" be a case of impatience and bad priorities. Like kiddo thought he was just such a fucking genius he needed to dive right in to the requirements for his major before taking any core requirements, which are for plebs in his mind. Actually, they can be life-changing -- you and I had a chat elsethread about Buddhism, and my half of it literally would not have been possible without taking Intro to Buddhism in undergrad as part of a "world cultures" requirement -- or not change your path at all but just be fun as hell, like sculpture. (At my school, you got to use bandsaws and tablesaws!) Some of the classes I had that were similarly not requirements for my major were hard as hell (fucking symbolic logic, which I took under the mistaken impression that anything filed under the philosophy department would be easy), and I was glad to get them out of the way before getting on with the ones that formed the basis of my actual degree. If you do it the other way around, it's in some ways like eating your ice cream before your dinner, which I'm not convinced Skylar doesn't also do.

@Skylar Ittner maybe they went after you because of your hilarious levels of unwarranted self-importance. You're constantly put at a crossroads and so far at every opportunity you have chosen the path that makes you look like the biggest possible sperg. You keep boasting about being a god-tier programmer/hacker but as soon as you get called out on it you claim that the gaffes that you get called out on were just "jokes." If your little "joke" package actually does what @Fancy Bear says that it does then it is by all definitions malware whether you meant it to be or not so don't go crying about your innocent little program being flagged as a false positive.

If you were actually aspiring to be a computer scientist (which you're the furthest possible thing from) you'd know that even with an undergraduate degree you'd barely be scratching the surface on most of the serious subjects in the field. Go back to your "Learn Java in 3 Weeks" courses and stop wasting the time of actually competent people.

Skylar is too autistic to be a computer scientist. At best he maybe able to get a job in tech support somewhere answering calls if he can find a VoIP company that still uses North American citizens to answer calls.

Skylar only knows the basics of code and nothing about network security.

These people seem to have a distinct anarchist/anti government bent to them, and that's why they've not completely nuked you or anyone else on this board (yet). They're being 'nice' because you've no political or monetary interest in you (that's immediately obvious anyway) and they've roughly the same interest in you that we do (I assume). So while us Kiwis do the equivalent of bored eight graders on holiday, poking the icky dead animal with sticks so we can see all the icky maggots, @Fancy Bear 's equivalent is rigging up the animal carcass with some plastic explosives they've running spare.

This is nuclear levels of Mother's Good Boy syndrome and it's noted by how much he deflects from the topic of her.

The posters were a cry for attention, the campaign against Carroll, the call to a radio show, and I'm sure she's stoking the flames on this one too. Some sort of attempt at sensationalization to put every autistic facet of her son in a positive light so the world see him as the super-genius wonderboy he really is. Being a divorce lawyer with a lukewarm marriage in Helena, Montana probably doesn't leave you with many aspirations. (As much as @Fancy Bear had me roaring laughing, this probably vindicates all their shit.)

Either he's going to realize mommy is milking him for gratification and he's clinging to her teat for probably the sole source of acceptance in his life, or he'll realize the whole ingratiatingly smug brat act isn't cute to anyone but her and his balls will finally drop.

Otherwise, he's looking at being a real life Buster Bluth.
