I really fucking second this. lawcow would definitely be a category all in its own, considering how many nutty people bring up worthless crazy lawsuits. If this kind of thread starts happening more, perhaps we should have a lawcow tag.
Did he get to use his smoking gun piece of evidence (a blurry picture of the back of a bald man's head)???? If not, I'm demanding a retrial.
Seriously, can someone describe his reaction to the verdict? He seems to LOL about the other repercussions he's faced, even the restraining order. But to be dressed down by a judge and forced to pay $1500...that's got to sting. Especially for someone who just got evicted and can't possibly have a lot of money.
He is so convinced of his own infallibility that he lacks the ability to self-correct. I've only ever had to go to court for jury duty and I showed up well ahead of time.He is in a hilarious situation, because even as a cow, just not even showing up to your own trial that you started and that everyone else showed up for is something most people can't sympathize with. At all.
Holy fuck.
I've shown up on time just for "trials" about parking tickets (that I won because the cop didn't show up fuck you pig).
He couldn't even show up for a "trial" he'd bellowed about on social media for months, tweeting court papers that had the correct time on them, too, where he didn't even bother to show up for the trial.
This man is literally a literal literal exceptional individual.

He ruled that it was filed in bad faith and it was without merit. Russell said that he didn't file it in bad faith, but the judge was like... Well that's a legal term. It doesn't matter if you felt it was in good faith or not. The judge brought up his other lawsuits. Skordas had brought up the fact that when he sued Taylor Swift he said he would drop the lawsuit if she went on a date with him. So that it was a pattern.
Did anyone else describe him physically? Sorry I haven't read all posts, only seen one here or there. He was wearing gray pants and a white button up shirt that has certainly seen better days, off-colored for sure. He's not as short as that picture in his cap and gown makes him look, but he does stand with that weird stance, like his feet are apart in a way that most people don't stand. So his legs kind of make a triangle. He didn't have the plastic bag, 100% he had seen people talking about it and so he bought something much more appropriate.
So, you guys... Anyway. I am going to provide a much more detailed account of everything later tonight. I don't usually come up to SLC so I'm going to see a friend while I'm here. She just texted me, so I'm off. You will not be disappointed. I know it's too grand a claim to make considering the live stream. I sincerely hope you won't be disappointed. I took notes, and... You'll get more details. All the details. One of the people who posted definitely posted most of the funny things.
This has been beautiful and wildly entertaining. Thanks for making the last few hours of work go by fast you fabulous CourtKiwis.
I wonder if Rusty is crying his eyes out in some dark corner? I wonder how his newest employer, Gieco, will react to this? Could Russ be homeless and jobless soon? I almost feel a teensy bad for the poor, wee boy.
He tried his best to explain that "There will be Blood" is the title of a movie and was "sarcastic". When confronted with the possibility that he threatened to kick Skordas ass he said he couldn't recall that post. The judge told him that if he had to spend 10 minutes looking for the post that rusty was going to spend 10 minutes in the cell. Rusty then said he only recalled 2 posts where he had used the word "ass." Skordas then provided the post where rusty said he was going to "Knock the lawyer on his ass with my evidence." That was then entered into evidence. Rusty got a bit flustered said something about it not being literal and the judge sort of dropped it at that point. What did he say to being questioned on his social media posts?

Skordas did use the infamous "Dream come true" post that Russ made 1 week after the concert. Russhole tried to explain that he didn't want another incident. Basically the same reasoning he's already posted online. The judge didn't buy that though.
This is amazing. The one thing this guy kept on hammering on fb for months in a smug tone how he was going to win the case and get notice by his senpai, and he ends up being late for the trial. You really can't make this shit up. But thank you , @sharshorita for the work. You've definitely went above and beyond for the kiwis!
