Tbf they're not wrong @Internet War Criminal

ive been back from the gym like 15 minutes ago and since I came back home I've said nigger three times, wrote something sexist and tweeted something against affirmative action

yeah so thats fairly accurate

for real tho the vast majority of people I know in the gym are right-wing and ive seen that virtually everywhere even in blue af cities on the coasts. lots of testosterone + knowing the value of hardwork will redpill a man

im 100% against the redistribution of gains

I remember one episode of the Sopranos where Tony is talking to some FBI guys he knows. He's the mafia so they're the enemy, but this is the early 2000s and they ask him to keep an eye out for suspicious activity because terrorism, and he'll bury the hatchet for that because fuck kebabs. So he tells them about two arab guys that come into his strip club sometimes and they say they'll check it out. But all he's really got is "I saw two arab guys". The joke (and it's subtle because the Sopranos was actually good) is that just having some innocuous trait that means nothing was being used to discriminate against people without any logical basis for why they deserve scrutiny.

Anyway, guess that was off-topic, don't know why I brought it up. Just felt a weird urge I suppose but I can't explain why...

What? No, being Arab is a perfectly reasonable reason to stalk, harass, and throw someone across the street for.

LOL they made it into a game! Let's see how many Muslims we can punch for the top score.

I'm fucked you guys, just last weekend I went with some friends to a mma fight and after that we went out and got hammered, now it's only a matter of time before I kill someone at a rally. Should I move interstate and become a tranny or just do it and get it over with?

yeah that's not what happened at all

The three scenes in question:

Anti-terror Feds come up to him and ask him to reveal if he ever hears anything shady coming out Pakistani dudes and how they are connected to international terrorism, and points out his own daughter is at risk

Tony asks Chris because he knows those two arabs are involved in guns and credit cards, but Chris thinks they are not likely to be bad guys because he knows them and one of them got a dog and terrorists don't have dogs you know

Tony decides to go to the Federal agents after he sees the two Arabs come out of a fundamentalist mosque and drop a dime because

  1. Pakistanis
  2. Involved in credit card scams
  3. Love guns
  4. Hang out with fundamentalists in a mosque and stopped coming

The whole point is to show that while Tony and Chris are scumbag criminals, they are still Americans who care about their country and when they see something, they say something. Anyone who knows two arabs who are involved in criminal shit who suddenly stop drinking and go to fundamentalist mosques SHOULD contact the FBI tbh

So yeah it's not at all how you read the scene, it's the fucking opposite

And this is not off-topic at all, because its hilarious that it shows that the fucking Sopranos was actually better in depicting how you should act when you're confronted with people who might be extremists and when it's ok to drop a dime about it than the fucking british police

Well I always read Tony's racism as being comically myopic. He and his people are constantly offended at any hint of anti-Italian discrimination or mafia stereotyping even though they make their living preying on the weak and killing people, but another race does it and suddenly they're patriots.

Yeah except he never dropped a dime on anyone before and had no problem working with people from other races. Just fucking stop.

If you had bothered to watch the scenes (and don't pretend you had time to read my post and watch those three videos that make up 8 minutes of run time in the six minutes between my post and yours)

Tony clearly has no desire to drop a dime on those arabs at all and is even laughing that he's not a rat until the Fed agents mention that his own daughter is at risk and that's when he decides that yeah actually that might be the right time to consider his duty as a citizen versus his adversarial relationship to authority

Again, Tony did exactly what someone in his position should do (couldn't find the intermediate scene where he see the two guys coming out of a fundamentalist mosque but that's the last straw why he tells the fed)

:story:

It's okay guy, I'm man enough to admit you caught me misremembering an episode of a tv show from 10 years ago

giphy.gif

if you were really man enough you would have stopped digging instead of doubling down then act like you're above it and its hilarious when you realize you clearly can't keep rolling with it
Stop being a fag. What is hard to believe about someone incorrectly remembering an episode of a 20 year old TV show? Until I bought their box sets I thought Stargate SG1 and Sliders were amazing tv shows. You are getting way too worked up over this.

It certainly does explain the grunting and general sense of insecurity.

I bet you don't even herbal cleanse bro

Ooooh scaring people with text/twitter stories, fitting music and (arguably) nice graphics? Throwing in some guilt-tripping and obvious double-standards?

For those too lazy to play the online interactive 'game', it basically goes:
1/ You're bored and google stuff to do
2/ You join a self-defense class
3/ People there buddy up with you and you join the Youth Action
4/ Youth Action guy invites you to a rally
5/ Then another, if you say yes the Youth Action guys jump some muslim teenager and kill him (fully recorded video, too)
6/ Your phone blows up with anon hate, twitter threats, friend texts saying 'I didnt think you were like this!!', cops coming to get you
7/Screen fades to black, 'racism is bad' speech, 'targeting someone for their race or beliefs is a hate crime' speech, statistics about hate crimes in the UK, #CampaignHashtag

I know I won't be taking any self defense classes any time soon *yawn*
