I miss Nugrape made with high fructose corn syrup, I hate the cane sugar version.
IKR! They fucked up Diet Pepsi by changing aspartame to sucralose, as if it's any better for one's health. Aspertame gave it the "Crisp" in "Light. Crisp. Refreshing." Now it tastes metallic, even from a plastic bottle. It was re-released as "'Diet Pepsi Classic Sweetener Blend," but who knows for how long. It's good I like Pepsi Max/Zero Sugar, although I'm a Coke man.

While we're on topic...

I also remember this being alright, back when Cadbury Schweppes still existed and owned Dr. Pepper.

Wrigley's Extra Original had a nice fruity taste, which was quite difference from all the usual mint flavors and "Classic Bubble." 5 Elixir tasted quite similar, but it was hard to find and eventually discontinued, too.
I can actually still find this locally. Though they don't sell it in the "Plen-T-Pak" anymore.

I will say though I have saved a few unopened gum packs of Extra and even the long forgotten Adams brands. It'll be a nice keepsake for my kids or grandkids to deal with!

I'm still looking for some Sour Apple!

Mother. Fucking. Dunkaroos.
I don't know if they still have them in other regions but as far as I can tell, they're gone from the US. Either way, they were the shit.

It be annoying if it's still out there being enjoyed by someone that's not us North Americans!

Reminded some countries still have Chicken Tonight!

I like Coke too (hopefully that diet doesn't switch ingredients on me and all, I do miss the "NutraSweet" branding of the 80's when that was all over these drinks).

I could recognize the NutraSweet logo before I could read. Aspartame is a part of me!

"Classic Bubble" is indeed still sold in a "Slim Pack" and has a typical bubblegum flavor. However, original came in a dark red package and had a fruity taste with a hint of bubblegum. My guess was Classic Bubble and many limited fruit flavors coming out rendered it unnecessary, so production was stopped in 2003.

They had a way of getting their "swirl logo" out there!

Yeah I guess I haven't chewed it long enough to noticed the difference. Though back in the 80's I used to had Carefree Sugarless Gum a lot, namely their bubble gum flavor, there's a brand you don't see much anymore.

Managed to find a few unopened packs too!

I remember as a wee lassie I used to get Wonder Balls, something like a Kinder Suprise. You had a hollow ball of chocolate with a little toy inside. They were discontinued after re.tarded kids ate the toys and choked to death. They made a brief comeback only to be filled with shitty candy.
I have been seeing a similar thing called Yowie that has toy animals inside, I would have gone nuts for those as a kid.

No joke, I found a nearly 20 year old pack of these while remodeling my kitchen last year along with some Fruit by the Foots advertising Mario Kart 64. I chose not to try any.

It's best to keep these as ornamental pieces of a bygone era. I've done that with a tin of chewing gum packs so far. Every time I open it up, the smell just hits me! I know I can't chew 'em, but at least the smell is enough! My sis for example saved a couple boxes of Kellogg's cereals themed around The Simpsons from the early 2000's. I'm sure they're still at her house somewhere in a closet or attic.

I could talk on length about my moniker's namesake, but instead I'll bring up this amazing assortment.

For all I know they could still be making these and I'm just not looking hard enough, but regardless, whoever had the idea of adding oatmeal squares to Chex Mix deserves a raise.

Probably in the same remote places that sell Quisp and King Vitaman.

Bacon and cheese Tater skins, I'd smack a baby for that.
Roy Rogers baked potato, holy hell I'd love one of those.
Fruit wrinkles, and there was another fruit bar that had cream on one side..

Those were the shit. I had just moved back to the States where Kinder Surprises were illegal, so I loved em.

We Americans get nothing if it ends up breaking a draconian law due the very nature of their design. There's already a few knock-offs being sold these days that got around the rule by making the eggs far less of a choking hazard.

Still, the company behind Kinder Surprises was lucky enough to get us hooked on Nutella instead.

Mars Bars are impossible to find here, replaced with Snickers with Almonds. It just isn't the same.
The way Mars Inc. operates seems to find ways to mess around and confuse their brands globally (Milky Way for example is made with different ingredients on both sides of the Atlantic. Recently the US Mars just introduced Maltesers here. For us Yanks, these are essentially the same as Whoppers, but I hope they can keep 'em around as long as they can.

The law states you cannot completely encompass a non-edible item within an edible. If you open up a Chocotreasure or Yowie you'll see that there's a "lip" that goes around the inner egg which protrudes through the chocolate, thus it's not "completely encased" and the product is legal to sell.

No wonder. Funny it took this long for someone to come up with that.

You can still buy the King Cakes that have the plastic baby inside, though most of them do put the baby outside the cake now.

Baskin-Robbins Amazing Spider-Man 2 ice cream. The movie might have sucked dick for pocket change, but this movie tie-in ice cream was fucking dynamite:

Those red and blue pieces? Poprocks. Ben and Jerry's should steal this recipe from the B-R vaults, change up the color scheme, and sell it by the pints in stores.

The things I miss for not buying pricey B-R flavors. (:_(
