As far as I know, no. He's worked at a few fast food places, a gas station as well from what I remember. No school though either. I don't think he's held a job for very long either.

As far as I know, no. He's worked at a few fast food places, a gas station as well from what I remember. No school though either. I don't think he's held a job for very long either.

He hasn't held a job anywhere for more than a few months, IIRC.

In the last year or so he's had a job at: Burger King, Tim Hortons, A Gas Station, Dave & Busters, and one other place that I forget.

I don't think a normal person goes through more than 5 jobs a year unless there's something not quite right with them.

lolwut? Everything I've seen from his mother has been efforts to help him. She doesn't want him to be up all night streaming. She doesn't want him to give out information on the internet. She wants him to get a job and a home and support himself.

She's trying to save him from his own autism. She fucking broke up with his girlfriend for him, ffs. Every time we hear her voice on phonecalls and streams, she sounds exhausted for having to continually put out his fires for him.

The problem with Chibi is that he doesn't want to fix anything about himself. He has at least some idea of how much a sperg he is. His reaction to this exact thread was "none of it is untrue". He knows what he is, but he's so much of a manchild that he'd rather wallow in his own pity and make half-assed attempts to fit into society than actually address his faults.

He could just stop streaming and all of his drama would go away, but he continues to cling onto his few followers for interaction instead actually going outside. He's 25 or something and he still hasn't learned what is and isn't appropriate. He doesn't learn from his mistakes. He looks at his mistakes and says "that was the past, now I'm a whole new person!" and then proceeds to fuck up in the exact same manner. He could try to learn social nuances and learn how to be an adult. He chooses to be a sperg.

Chibi's mom is probably the best influence he's ever had. A normal human being who cares enough about him to try and reign in his autism.

Chibi himself deserves scorn, not pity.

This is the trap I fell in back around 2015 when I first met him shortly after the whole cheating in TTYD incident.

I befriended him and started watching his stream because I couldn't wrap my head around why everyone hated this guy. He does it to himself.

He is fully aware of how the speedrunning community doesn't really like him. So what does he do? Stuff like Iwata funeral and Easter Speedsters despite multiple people telling him they're bad ideas.

He is fully aware of his family's stance on him streaming because of the harassment they've received. What does he do? The above + continues to stream and broadcast his personal stuff online.

He is fully aware his past GF was harassed by people online. So what does he do? Broadcasts his relationship and opens the door to the new girl being harassed, too.

He is also fully aware that this thread exists and even said that it's all true. So what does our friend Chibi do? Continues to do all of the above and even more stuff yet publicly wonder why his life is crappy and why people still don't like him.

I know it sounds harsh, but as someone who knew/knows him personally, he likes the attention. People have pointed it out and ditched him in the past because of it. He has a history spanning back 10 years of him joining communities, sperging out and alienating everyone in said community, and then moving on to the next once people realize what an attention whore he is.

It's sad but there's nothing we can do except enjoy the ride.
