Nothing makes me wanna donate to this manchild, than he crying cause his tummy hurts. unbelievable. He really has nobody in irl to turn to, to talk to.
Giving his trainwreck where he has thrown so many people under the bus, his toxic personality and the state of his living place I honestly don't want him around other people. Except some lolcows from this subforum maybe.

You are eating high in acid rotten blueberries at 5 in the morning.

What does this man child expect how his 35 year old stomach is gonna handle this fuckup?
>eat sugary tomato sauce and meatballs with balls of fat
>don't get ill
>eat a fruit
>get ill

Seems about right for someone with gout.

I hate to disagree but he did -in all fairness- win Evo East in 2006 and I think 2007. Those tournaments did have some high profile killers in ST. And he won legit.
Well, then I stand corrected. Nonetheless, this fat fuck thinks he IS a "pro-level player", when at best he is a HAS BEEN.

What I can see on Twinge it does look like Phil have viewbots on his channel, this is from his latest broadcast:

Compared to Quill18's latest (somewhat similar in views):

It's quite unnatural to hit close to your peak viewership for a broadcast in less than half an hour.

It isn't really about his status as a pro player, it's about his attitude. If another guy did a video on Street Fighter who played and won at a couple of tournaments years ago, even if he hasn't been sighted in the scene since, I'd give his opinion a lot of respect--if he presented it politely and came up with evidence. But Phil destroys his own credibility by screaming and throwing a tantrum and having his mods ban anyone who disagrees with him.
It's basically the difference between "I'm not a fan of Street Fighter V because I feel the game's issues with its netcode really hurt it, especially the frame skips" and "FUCK THIS GAME! I WAS BLAHKING! LOOK AT THIS FAG USING ONLINE LAG TACTICS! etc, etc."

Who knew giving an exceptional individual like Vidar power would go badly?

Stealing this image from Twitter, sums up Phil's attitude today:

It is very fascinating to explore the pathology behind DSP continually becoming so unhinged and enraged when it comes to fighting games.
He has built up and promoted this aura of himself as "a former pro Street Fighter player" to such a degree that him losing to a lesser-ranked opponent is tantamount to publicly threatening his manhood.
If he would lose with grace and humility, it could easily be explained away to an empathetic audience that his skills have eroded over the years, but Phil has far too much foolish pride to allow that "weakness" to occur.
This is why I laugh every time he mentions how he has grown and matured over the years.

"if stream attendance goes down" well since school started recently this is most definitely the case

Can you imagine any other 'reviewer' or YouTuber saying they wouldn't do a review because it wouldn't get views? Who would even mention it before releasing the videos in the first place? Sounds like he's trying to set himself up to fail so he can take his hands off the blame train (as usual)

Doubtful, but maybe Phil is starting to kick himself about the $400 a month he is spending on his internet connection.

Heads up guys, his patrons have nominated the next games for his marathon (voting still hasn't occurred)

Jak 3, R&C: A Crack In Time, Mario Sunshine and Manhunt.

I'm honestly hoping for Manhunt to win, he's gonna end up ragequitting that game and being salty as fuck about it.

I want Manhunt to win just because I wanna see how many times he'll say "Look at that! Ack ack ack" whenever he murders someone.

About DSP playing USF 2 so much is because it's "his" game. The game he finished 4th at evo with. The thing is to him, it's not the version he played back then. The glitches and character specific bullshit he abused is gone so now he has to rely on his already diminished reaction time and netcode to which he will never adjust to.

Another thing about DSP when it comes to fighting games is that he never adjusts to the opponents play style or the game mechanics which is the one of the main things to getting even halfway decent at Fighting games. I watched a number of his matches in games and he falls into the same pattern which he gets punished for.

Simply put, He plays fighting games the same way he runs his business and life. Never changing, never adapting, and of course not blocking.

I'll believe his inputs are being dropped and that he was blahking when he actually shows his controller while he's playing.

You normally don't need to see it because when he claims to be blocking, you can hear him smacking keys like a trained monkey in the background.

Worse, he pulls out the oldest combos available. When playing Tekken 7 he played King and Paul like it's still the very first game from PSOne, not even touching the more complicated characters. Same with Street Fighter, he plays Zangief the same way in every game he is in. Let's not say that this is a generally bad thing, but opponents can easily adapt when you play down the chart.

For the same reason he avoids BlazBlue and GuiltyGear because there he has to learn the metagame from the start. He knows he has many weebs among his remaining fan but he denies him the animu fighters. Persona 4 Arena has also shown his limited skills - if a fighting game did not exist in mid 2000s he doesn't touch it. And lets shit on Capcom all day and night but play MvC every time.

Also his excuses from online lag, input lag and opponents constantly counter-picking make him the John of all Johns in fighting games.

If he thinks he is so superior at fighting games then why doesn't he have a fantastic winning streak or W/L ratio? Because if he was so good it doesn't matter much who is opponent is, for sure on the Switch not all of them are EVO professionals. Instead he loses to randoms constantly, making input mistakes and shows generally poor tactics that are repetitive. And thats with high-tier characters such as Dee Jay against bottom tier Blankas.

Whatever skill he had in the mid-2000s, if any aside from the fluke of the century, is gone now, because he didn't train, he never progressed and he avoids playing competitively. He was somewhat better-than-average in a time where most of his fanbase wasn't even conceived. His EVO 2005 4th place finish was his 4 touchdown in a highschool match event.

He says he has a full time job (lol) and can't play enough to be a top player, but all the big time ST heads (and any other old FG) are all 30+ with jobs too. They just manage to make it out to a few regional tourneys and maybe EVO without begging online.

SF2 is easily the best I've seen him play a FG. He can at the very least set up fireball traps, tick throw setups, and land jump in stun combos. Every one else has already pointed it out, he simply can't outplay or adapt to other players.

The only game i've ever seen him excel in was street fighter 3. He went like 60-0 online. I don't think he was ever that good at SF2 i think he destroyed noobs who didn't know all the moves and combos. Since SF4 the average player has vastly improved so he gers roasted online.

I would love for him to go back to Skullgirls and try playing online.

Considering his history with zoning characters, Peacock would be a prime source of salt.

She even has the perfect taunt for him:

"Why are you so bad at video games?"
