Shit how many cups of sugar is that? In something like fucking JAM you use like a cup per pound (shit it might even just be a quart-I make a lot of jam, enough that I have so much that I dont make much) of fruit. A cup of sugar is a LOT of fucking sugar. In something like a sauce youre supposed to use like a tablespoon or something per pound of produce just to cut the acidity so it doesnt taste tart. You arent supposed to taste sugar in any way.l Its meant to accent the natural sugars in the things you eat. Natural sugars taste a lot different than refined, sugar cane sugar.
