My Little Pony Movie thread

The rating is actually meant to warn about the audience.

If they had any sense they'd have a matinee/afternoon showing for children and parents only and then a midnight showing where they can keep the degenerates out of sight and maybe have another janitor on call because reasons.

These days only the most gentle of kid's movies are rated G. Yes, more gentle than an episode of My Little Pony. I don't know why they even bother with it anymore.

When is the last time a G movie was even made? If they did make one, it would just attract perverts because of its innocence.

Cars 3 is the most recent G movie. But before that film, off the top of my head, the last G-rated movie that was released in theaters was Curious George, and that was back in 2006.

EDIT: Whoops, almost forgot The Peanuts Movie last year was G, then there was Rio 2 the year before that, and Monsters University in 2013. So G movies are still around, but it's like only one per year or every other year at this point.

If Cars 3 is G, why isn't this movie G?

I think there was some sort of educational preschool show for that had a "movie" a few years ago? Maybe?

I don't understand it either. I'm pretty sure if all my childhood films received a modern rating they'd all be rated PG despite the lack of cussing because stuff happens and there's conflict. Because god forbid kids see conflict and get a little scared.

For G ratings, Cars 3 and Toy Story 3 had some pretty intense scenes(car crash/trash furnace)
Maybe the argument is that because those were technically objects rather than people or animals, it's not really violence or threat. Just as it's okay to depict your hero chopping up lots of enemy troops, as long as they're robots.

The movie needs more things to turn into porn, after all.
They must've known all the gay ponyfags would want to fuck Capper when they designed him.

The nerds/social misfits will probably be going on opening night, and then during the daytime and weeknight showings. The parents taking their children will likely go to the weekend showings, since they have jobs and responsibilities that the rejects aren't fettered down by.
