Amazing how people agree with a person, after claiming expertise in the subject, then tell others to not listen to the person they agree with due to the person having a bad reputation. Trance4lifeyo may be a superb source of information in the field of professional fighting, but serves little in the field of consistency. Perhaps DSP assumes people would take his opinion for what it is: an opinion. Taking it as anything else is at the fault of the beholder.

Bias is a terrible mistress and getting in bed with bias only leaves you groggy in the morning with your wallet gone.

We can laugh, but this is actually not implausible. DSP is always surrounded by weird behavior inspired by grudges, impotent measuring contests, pointless slap fights...

Him (or more likely a fan) coming here and "blending in" for a few months, accomplishing absolutely nothing, then revealing themselves and celebrating like it was an epic victory against the detractors and it's somehow proof that we secretly are jealous of Phil... it's the kind of thing that's so stupid it's almost guaranteed to happen on a long enough timeline.

After re-reading your post like, 5 times, I think I get what you mean. Phil is in the right to claim that Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor is a fraud circus show, because it is. There is literally nothing of consequence in that fight and they have both shamelessly admitted that it is for the paycheck. However, calling people who buy it idiots and that they enjoy other overhyped forms of media goes into the realm of hypocritical and personal. Phil makes his living off of hype culture and playing popular videogames. He is awful with his personal finances and begs people to support his reckless spending habits. I can talk about the legitimacy about the fight because I am a avid fan of combat sports, but I wouldn't tell you not to buy it because to a casual person I can see the appeal, just don't get your hopes up.
