You guys looked into his bills but never truly compared it to others like his mortgages.

His bills may be average and be seen as low but he's got two mortgages he's paying on and even he admitted to that's where a chunk of the money goes to. I may be ruining the mood of the thread but Phil has painted himself into a corner.
Do you remember last month when it donned on him his checking account was going to fall into the red? Or how about the $400 dollar tax bill he owed Connecticut? How his credit report when it was run by the car dealership didn't see this last one is beyond me, but as a man if you're on the verge of every falling into the red it behooves Phil to budget. I don't think he's ever budgeted.

His Comcast bill confused me a little. I'm in his area, use the same ISP, and an subjected to the same rates. I only have internet, and I pay about what he's paying, maybe a few bucks less a month, and I certainly don't have the business line. I think I'm 1 plan up from the cheapest with an added noticeable $4-5 a month speed boost. If he also pays for cable, and has the same internet package I do, he'd be paying close to $200 a month without a promotion, and he's been with Comcast long enough that any sign up promotion would be over by now. He might have both internet and TV, but went with the cheapest package for both, which would explain a lot of the lag issues he gets that I don't (when it actually is lag).

Has anyone ever tried to figure out how much Phil makes a year? Is it middle class money for an American?

I work with many Americans and they seem to have at least one home, many have multiple properties like for investment capital, but they are also engineers which I assume make more money than the average American (they also travel internationally for work assignment so they must make more money than typical American engineers).

I don't want to assume he is rich by having two properties because I know in the US, its very easy to get loans and the cost of housing in the US is very cheap compared to most countries.

When I think about it, the cost of living in the US is generally really good outside of the very expensive cities like San Francisco and New York yes? Every time I must come to the US for work, I am amazed how cheap gasoline and food is compared to what I am used to.

DSP has done a very good job keeping his financial information vague but there may be a fairly simple way to get a hint of how relatively he personally feels about his finances at a given time. Its more accurate than whenever he pulls faces on camera and says he's broke obviously since he does that all the time. And may be more sensitive than even his spending habits since he spends like a profligate sailor too often as well.

Phil likes to encourage a core fan belief; that the more money you give him and the more financially secure he feels the more cool stuff he'll be able to do. But looking over actual history its pretty obvious the opposite is true. Patreon, DSP tries it, Cooking with the King, Direct Capture, edited Khantent, Twitch. Almost every 'effort' above the minimum, phil has done during situations where there were strong external signs of trouble for his revenue stream ie capyright strikes. In contrast when he's feeling fat and safe he'll revert to minimal effort and start dropping programs and initiatives, and cutting down on the choices he gives his fans. The fatter and safer he is the more he'll cut and the lazier he'll become. So look for him to frantically launch new ideas his fans came up with and generally venture outside his comfort zone during lean times and cut back from his already baseline effort and drop things or do it in an even lazier way, claiming he has no time for them, during good times.

Its explains the one thing that I thought would be a vlog and screamed from the mountains. Phil is pushing the "hack" under the rug.

He didn't even mention it the 2nd stream on the day it happened, and only mentioned it the next day as a "Attempt to troll me, but I just had to make a few phone calls and all was good". It seems that he purposely hiding the actual information in the hack from his fans, so they don't find out how much he actually needs for his bills. You see this monthly with Phil, every month is the same song and dance of "Last month was bad, so I need your help to make it this month, but if WE rally next month and the next will be super good".

July he had that massive $2,000 in tips/cheers from the copyright strike week and plus whatever other tips and cheers he got the rest of the month, so July was by no means bad. Phil is trying to do the same trick for the 12th month in a row, while not using the hack as he would expose how little he needs from them.

I will allow Jim to brilliantly paint the dark portrait of Phil's hopeless future:

DSP does almost nothing with his money that will produce more money. He's completely at the mercy of outside circumstances, which is the opposite of where he should be as someone running a business.

A person who makes shit work despite outside circumstances is pretty much the definition of a business owner.

This is what I love, Googling his real name comes up with the ED page. Let's imagine that you're a boss of some fairly rinky-dink office that needs some form of low peon work. You're doing a quick search on this guy who's just handed in a very spotty CV with lots of gaps in it. You might get a Facebook or Instagram.

Instead you get this, a link that will no doubt show the wanking clip. A link that will show off the fact that he's racist, sexist and kind of an awful human being. Are you going to hire that kind of liability?

Focusing on Phil for a moment, as someone who has been his own (albeit) shitty boss, is he really going to take being ordered around?

I honestly don't believe that Phil could survive in any sort of work environment. He's too much of a narcissist to do shit grunt work.

There is some argument that Google results are biased by previous search history.
For reference this screenshot is taken with a fresh browser/incognito (no user history). I even get similar results using a fresh TOR instance.

Search for Phillip Burnell Renton (likely what an employer would first search for because the name is quite common)

DuckDuckGo returns fairly similar results, however the detractor pages are a bit lower and things like LinkedIn are higher. Bing also returns fairly similar results.
Pretty much for any search terms you use, 'interesting' stuff comes up on the first page and in the window at first glance (meaning they don't even have to scroll down).

More like Summer is winding down and the children that comprise the majority of his fan base are going back to school within the next 3 weeks, so they're spending more time getting ready for the new school year. More specifically, they're probably rushing to finish their summer reading projects they haven't done yet because they spent all their summer watching the gout lord, and throwing their allowance/parents' credit card money at him.

See, we know he isn't in that bad a shape financially (yet) so this is a bullshit claim. But it won't be one day. And I think we all know Phil would choose dumb shit like a cable/WWE wrestling subscription over warm water or something actually important. All I'll say is it goes back to the "Wants vs Needs" paradigm, and Phil has shown over the course of his life that he'll choose "Wants" every time.

"People are returning for new games... so listen up"

Talks about something that has nothing to do with new games. gg DSP. Way to capitalize on the interest in the comple wrong way. Could have announced something that people returning for new games would be interested in and tied that in subtly with your desire for financial support. But nah, "Boobies! Ok now that I've got all your attention please donate."

I thought phil actually said that. God damn, it's so hard not believing it.

God damn it, i fell for it too.
Thought it was real.

Isn't it just amazing how a man can have no moral bottom in such a way, that you expect anything shitty out of him to do and potentially get away with?

That is the most idiotic conclusion a person could come to...that owners of a season pass would be forced to buy it again because of a temporary glitch. A publisher would never get away with pulling something like that, otherwise they'd all sabotage their games on release day and say, "Whoops. Guess you'll need to pay twice for it."
A forthcoming patch will fix it up.
He truly is getting stupider by the day.
