That is the most idiotic conclusion a person could come to...that owners of a season pass would be forced to buy it again because of a temporary glitch. A publisher would never get away with pulling something like that, otherwise they'd all sabotage their games on release day and say, "Whoops. Guess you'll need to pay twice for it."
A forthcoming patch will fix it up.
He truly is getting stupider by the day.

If he cant get the day1 views... whats the point of playing videogames?

Does Kiwi know about DSP's staff skypegroup? He has them constantly monitor anywhere people discuss Phil to give him the news asap. I tried to trick BSV into getting me to join it. Failed but on my PC, I've got some quality information about the people in the group and the "drama" DSP endures with his staff's tism's

I'll post later when I'm home

EDIT If you go to the BSV thread, some posts of me asking to join the group and requirements are shown there. I have the logs of BSV venting to me in Feb. About the people in the group. Names of afew I can recall are a MasterofAwesome? Popsiclo? And few others (can't remember everyone)

sounds like...
“FUCK IT /B/ROS, I AM TIRED OF THIS CARDSTAND BULLSHIT. I AM GOING TO FUCK THAT CARDSTAND. GIVE ME 30 MINUTES. IF IT DOESN’T FALL IN 30 MINUTES, I WILL AN HERO MYSELF IN 30 MINUTES…”

They're not trying to get away with anything if it's a glitch. It seems to be real, only stupidity in his tweet is there was an easy fix by clicking on buy now where it gave an option to download not buy if it was owned. It took 5 seconds to find the solution, why Phil couldn't is typical DSP.

My statement was based on Phil's nonsensical thought process in believing that a publisher would actually force gamers to purchase a season pass a second time due to a day 1 glitch.
I am marveled how a guy like DSP, who spends all of his waking and sleeping hours thinking about video games, can be so ignorant of the process that goes into creating and delivering them to the end user.

Imagine Trump having to send the CIA and the FBI to get that loaned money back. "Nothing I could do, dood, Mr. President! ACK ACK ACK!"

EDIT: This just ocurred me...

- DSP is dependant on BSV money to keep himself afloat;
- BSV gets his money from Norwegian welfare;
- therefore, DSP is indirectly on Norwegian welfare.

Bugged welfare mechanics, dood.

Do you really think he spends much of his day thinking about video games? A few days ago, maybe the last Dsp Tries It, he said something about always being up to date on fast food, but he is never up to date on video games. Outside of whatever mobile game he is sinking Patreon money into his thoughts on games don't go far beyond what games are he playing that day and what new games he needs to hype up for the near future. Unless he is told about news or new games he doesn't know or care. So you are right he is ignorant about the foundation his "business" is based on, but it probably goes further then you would think.

Phil spends all of his time looking at life through a video game lens. It is woven into every fiber of his existence. Detractors are out to destroy him and vanquish his very being from this mortal plane, going into the city is tantamount to fetch quest adventures, and his identity is wrapped around him being a former fighting game tournament player.
He cares nothing of actual news or details regarding games, yet I am convinced he hears the Mario jump sound effect in his head whenever he hops up and down peering out a drawn window blind at the hordes of oncoming gardeners vying to plunder his Patreon palace.

How can DSP have done his edited reviews and have such shit OBS layouts and slideshows and stuff? Is this bottom tier effort or is it possible he actually paid someone to do those reviews? Was thinking about the way he frantically points at his Patreon and other links instead of having a hotkey in OBS do some kind of effect to make people naturally look at it.

He's such a shitbag that he would do that, so he assumes they would, too.

Do you remember last month when it donned on him his checking account was going to fall into the red? Or how about the $400 dollar tax bill he owed Connecticut? How his credit report when it was run by the car dealership didn't see this last one is beyond me, but as a man if you're on the verge of every falling into the red it behooves Phil to budget. I don't think he's ever budgeted.

I don't think he's budgeted either. I don't know how you can make a good budget when the income coming in isn't stable every month. He's just so used to making a lot that I doubt he actually knew how to budget in the first place.

His Comcast bill confused me a little. I'm in his area, use the same ISP, and an subjected to the same rates. I only have internet, and I pay about what he's paying, maybe a few bucks less a month, and I certainly don't have the business line. I think I'm 1 plan up from the cheapest with an added noticeable $4-5 a month speed boost. If he also pays for cable, and has the same internet package I do, he'd be paying close to $200 a month without a promotion, and he's been with Comcast long enough that any sign up promotion would be over by now. He might have both internet and TV, but went with the cheapest package for both, which would explain a lot of the lag issues he gets that I don't (when it actually is lag).

I"m thinking he's got two business class lines or something similar cause it just doesn't add up at all for what he's spending when it comes to internet.

I would argue budgets should be almost independent of with income. Whether I have 10 thousand coming in a year or 1 million I'm still going to try to limit my spending.

That is to say, maybe more clearly, I don't think a person should base their spending habits around their income and by extension I think budgeting is possible even with unpredictable income. An attitude like "Ok, I make a lot so I can spend a lot," is what got his credit ruined almost immediately after fixing it back when he was making a killing on YouTube. The smart move would have been to make no (or at least minimal) changes to his spending (budget) and save or invest the discretionary income (money that isn't budgeted)- or at the very least spend it on something that'll be fun. Instead he bought stuff that doesn't make him happy, doesn't make him money, and would cost him a lot of effort and/or money to move or get rid of.

Makes me wonder how fast DSP would go broke if he won a multi-million dollar lottery.

If Phil won a million dollars on the lottery, he'd spend 1.1 million.

"Hi Phil, love your work. I notice that you have lag troubles with nearly every match you play in fighting games. Are you absolutely sure it's not your internet to blame? Have you tested your latency? Are you sure your expensive business line guarantees good pings for gaming? Oh by the way, I'm not asking for your bullshit response. I'm demanding screenshots of your ping tests, motherfucker, or else nobody believes you."

That would mean that phil would have to be mature and actually have common sense. Phil is neither mature nor has common sense.

No doubt he still has stuff from the condo in that he can't sell or get rid of but honestly he should just move back and sell the house, get cheaper internet, and manage the debt he has already. He should have gotten a larger place in Connecticut and would have kept the friends he supposedly had. The guy whether lying or not lived like a cheap bastard while having huge savings in a bank account that he could have used now but blew it.

Budgeting or not, I think at this point he needs to seek professional help. I see Phil filing for bankruptcy in a year or 2

I bet he's never once tested his latency. Fast Internet does not mean stable Internet or low latency, but he'll just blindly assume it does.
