I also moseyed my way into the chat towards the end of the TigerPowered podcast last evening.
What stuck out to me was Phil tried to cover all his bases, essentially tossing Vidar under the bus, by stating he never talks to him outside of stream chat, has no relationship whatsoever with him, and furthermore imploring that the police should be called...but the fact of the matter is he is still willingly associated by allowing continuance of modding duties. Phil clearly only cares about the money that is being donated to him, as he's tossed other mods in the past for far less.
Also, the subject of paying DSP to appear on the podcast came up. The main host made it a key point that Phil was not paid to re-appear last night due to technical difficulties several weeks ago, but it was not answered whether Phil was paid to appear on that original podcast.

He doesn't.

I agree with you that someone that knows how to market Phil could make some money from him, though - I could see him being in some shitty "reality" show where the audience is supposed to hate him. Every episode could be Phil forced into social situations far outside his comfort zone and entertainment would be derived from the ensuing train wreck.

I'd actually watch it.
so, like an American version of An Idiot Abroad? That could work.

Here is the TigerPoweredMedia podcast with DSP last night:

At about 7:30 DSP complains about a payperview event being "too long"
"I think that a four hour long payperview is too long"
"by the time they get to some of the matches, you're like is this thing still going?"
"You're like who cares about this? You're supposed to open the show with a match that's gonna get the audience pumped! and get 'em excited for the next four hours!

Now, where have we heard complaints like that before?

You know whats fucked up? This is the exact response everyone knew Phil would give. He did go a bit further and said if someone has proof go to the police. The truth is nobody has definitive proof, but there is far more circumstantial evidence then anyone would ever want out there. The fact is it is not easy to just dig up internet posts to make a person look like a pedophile.

However, this is a lead mod on your chat that you know is largely kids under 18. Then again if you are the kind of person who doesn't think twice about accepting a 13 year old's birthday money your moral code is obviously skewed, but skewed enough you don't care a person could potentially be using your chat to get in touch with underage kids online because they give you money is screwed up. What couldn't you pay Dsp to brush off as no big deal?
Here's the thing, if some kid gets kidnapped by BSV do you think for a moment the parents and prosecutor aren't going after DSP for a negligent harm to a minor charge? He was told this was going on and he didn't care. In that situation when on the stand and asked why he didn't remove this person from a position of power that attorney is going to do their damndest to get him to admit it was because BSV was paying a quarter of his bills every month.

I love that Phil unironically believes that all sporting events should be like WWE PPVs.

Like he really does think that somehow real sports are going to follow the exact formula of scripted entertainment.

I'll bet one of the things you'll see by year's end is him just blatantly asking his fanbase of children to give their Christmas money to him. Speaking of which, I saw a reply to one of Drgn's tweets where the person pointed out how Phil is going to be spending Thanksgiving/Christmas totally alone this year, unless he goes to his parents (doubtful). I can't wait to see how he tries to spin that as being a positive; that and the 30 extra pounds he'll have by then.

They still live around Connecticut don't they? Phil would have to fly home then since his back supposedly can't handle that trip by car.

no he retconned that lie, his back is totally great now man, washington weather and something something. IT was in one of his more recent streams he said he was feeling totally great dude

I wonder if DSP will move his dedicated 40k+ quantity of videos to the VidMe since he keeps bitching about YouTube at times.

Then again, VidMe hasn't got the ad revenue feature in full function yet and he's lazy lol.

Don't you have to have a list of YouTube links to do that though? He'd have to get a list containing a link to every single video he has.

Using YouTube links to the VidMe is usually more simple than just archiving the videos into the hard drive for reuploads.

Problem for Phil is that he has to do copy and paste the link to every single damn video he uploaded because he has a boatload to even upload.

why would he bother though? does vidme pay him? I can't imagine him making any effort to do literally anything unless there is a monetary end. Because moving even 1 video is literally TOO MUCH EFFORT™ unless there are pennies at the bottom of the barrel for him to scoop up

edit: I also wanted to add i dont think he would ever move off Youtube because by keeping it on youtube it's his proof he's been on there since 2008 and that's his big ego stroke, "Been on since 2008 or w/e guys im a long timer lets play inventor" dick stroke shit. If he moves it to vidme he doesn't have that beyond timestamps on a video which means nothing

I mean mostly everything he does on his computer. Oh I'm sorry. His PC must be too much effort and major problems for his thick headed skull.

Oh man I don't want anyone to get me started on how he uses a computer.

Something that isn't talked about much is how Phil is entering into the age where a heart attack is a real threat for somebody not at all in good cardiovascular shape.
Let's look at his situation - wakes up at beach bum o'clock, meanders lumberingly to the fridge for his first V8 +Energy of the day, sits on his walrus blubber all day long and frequently rages, chugs more energy drinks, inhales a processed, sodium-filled, fat-laden TV dinner, then scripts his ceaseless stress on his tumbleweed forums until 4 am.
A 30 lb weight gain by the end of the year is being generous.
During one of the Sunday USF2 streams when he gets worked into an uncontrolled frenzy, the effects of not at all taking care of himself will take its toll.
